Women troubles just suck.
The things I learned are:
1. Cut the ties and never, ever go back.
2. Seriously look at your relationship without "love" as a factor and you can quickly determine if it's worth even sweating over...
3. Women are a dime-a-dozen... unless #2 says otherwise.

My gf is a little younger than I, and I'm really seing that whe're not at the same step in our lives... I don't want to wait another 5 year before she comes live with or 8 years before i get a kid... The more time is passing, the more I'm thinking f*ck it... I'll find another...
... actually I did, but she's already taken...
Grail,I'm most sorry to hear of your woes..
Only you can decide where your head is at though.
Personally, I'd flush the $600.00 and not go, but
I say that due to an experience of mine from years ago. Similar situation..Relationship ending and being stuck traveling together.
Man, I hated it because I kept getting flirted with by attractive women..but was still tied to this doomed relationship.
It's kind of hard to have fun when some girl is asking you something like :
Q "So where are you staying?"
A "err..with my future ex girlfriend."
So that's just my opinion, due to my history.
I hope you find the answer that best satisfies your situation's needs. Again, sorry things are so crappy right now, but this too shall pass.
Ron
Daj, yer not far off...
I've less money now than I did when I invested.
not like it was any serious cash, mind ya.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Lol! Actually I did say that to one of my friend *feels almost a shame* Quote:

I think the worst that can happen while I'm on vacation his that we'll go our separate ways during the week... I just don't want to break up while I'm on the plane on the way back... Papette sugestion wasn't bad... I realy have to wait and see how everything turns out... I mean I'm pretty sure of how it's gonna turn out, but when... that's another story...
Last night I really came close to the subject... but I've put on the break at the last instant.
I would say go with her, you never know if the vaccation saves the relation ship. You could perhapps think if you dont gothat " darn what if the vaccation hade worked " better to take the chance then soak about it later and if it dosent help then try to enjoy it so that you two will have a nice last memmory.
otyher then that I can just say good luck man hope it turns out for the best whatever you choce to do
// Mac

I don't think the vacation will really do something for us... whe already patched up our relationship a couple of time over the last 3 years... I think it's time I move on to something else...
... and I'm in that phase right now... let's just say that everything is going down hill with my girlfriend and the end is really near... I just need something else... I can't speek with her right now because next week we're going on vacation for a week and our plane ticket are already bought. I'm sure that if I bring up the subject right now, everything is gonna end right here and now... Sometimes I think that maybe the vacation will bring us closer together, but after last night, looks likes it's not gonna work... shit...
Anyway sorry for ranting... just had to get some off my chest...
Sorry to hear about your troubles. One thing about women, once they've made up their mind about something it's hard to reverse it. Hope the trip helps, but personally I'd get to the bottom of things now and possibly cancel the trip. It could be really uncomfortable if you don't.
damn, Dom...
all I can do is wish you my best... [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Actually I think whe're both seing that the end is near... So at least it's not only her decision... You're not the first person telling me to cancel the trip, but flushing 600$ down the drain is a little bit frustrating... and we're going to Iles-de-la-Madelaine, the most beautiful place I ever went to... I really want to go back... so I'm like torn between those 2 choice... end the relation and screw my vacation or stay with her for another week and maybe have a little fun while I'm in the "Iles"
I really don't know what I'll do... Thanks Madadman! It's really appreciated.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks Scott! I'll take a couple of those beers... and I'll probably finish Tony's rhum this week too... lolQuote:

this may sound heartless but...
would you go without her?
Wow, that's hard! I can understand you still wanting to go on your vacation.
Maybe you should go on the vacation so you don't miss out, and then have your "talk" with her on the last day of the vacation, when you're both a little euphoric from the nice surroundings and relaxing week. Maybe it will make things easier on you. Then you can fly back together and begin a new life.
That's a hard call! I hope you're ok!
Bummer Grail. I hope things work out for you.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's not heartless, but yes I'd go without her... but if she's not there I'd be a little f*cked since we're staying in her grand-pa's home, we're using the car that her father sent there for us and all her familly is there... I'd go with someone else in a couple of years, but it would cost me a max to stay there for a week... so yes I feel like I'm kinda using her for that...
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've tought about a couple of "scenarios" and that one is the most likely to happen... I think I'll wait and see. I know I'll be ok, it's only a bad phase I need to go through... Only upside is I'll go and take an apointement (sp?) for my tattoo lol!Quote:
