Was on eBay before clocking in here and someone has a tea lesson set and a Windsor chair (in different auctions) they claim are retired. Does anybody know anything about this? The tea set is still on the website, as is the chair - but with the quill and inkwell.
No they are not retired Elizabeth can you Pm me the ebay link please I would like to see tit and correct the person on their information thanks.

That stuff shows up all the time - I don't know if it's the same seller or not. I've given up trying.
When I was new to AG I almost got hanged with one of the Windsor chairs being pushed as retired - thank Heaven I was outbid at the last minute.
Someone in Arkansas keeps selling the chair and said I'm welcome to come pick it up - which would save shipping costs. However, I keep getting outbid at the last moment. Maybe this time will be the charm.

OK, I admit I'm guilty of it, but I WILL say I've never done what happened to me tonight: I got outbid with FOUR SECONDS to go by ONE DOLLAR AND ELEVEN CENTS on a Felicity.
AARRGGHHH!!!
Someone on Ebay is selling Kit's Rolltop Desk & Chairs and they claim it is rare!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The only place it's RARE is my house because I don't have it (yet, yet, yet)!! LOL!Quote:

It was such a good price at the MCM sale. I should have got it instead of Molly's Bike.

Sometimes people think things are retired when they're not . . . sometimes people list them as retired to attract more bidders . . . and sometimes people claim the item is "retired" because it's PM.
ALWAYS verify something as being retired before bidding a lot for it. I've seen quite a few auctions that listed currently available items as no longer available.

Well technically PM items are retiered. Not the actual set but the materials and things they used for the PM items. So...ya know. (I'm not really good at wording things)
