the weekend Was way to hot to do anything, So I stayed under the AC, reading Harry Potter and eating tomato sandwichs

We tied our record here with 39 consecutive days off triple digit temps.

I'm glad we didn't break the record but 99 is still plenty hot!

Again I ask myself....WHY do I live in the desert?

I hear Illinois has it real bad too Ellanoize but we've had more deaths from it by a long shot!

Are you in Arizona???? Nevada???? I have seen how hot it is there right now....we've been in 100's for the last 2 weeks. I'm in OKlahoma........where the wind is suppossed to come seeping cross the plains...yeah right feels more like a blast from a furnace!

Up here in the mountains we are actually 92 degrees...I've never seen that up here before..

The Monsoon season is trying to get started here but all we get is the wind and the humidity!
The clouds hang over the mountains, off in the distance and we get no rain unless you wanna count virga!!!

I did an Indian rain dance the other day in the front yard...My hubby was laughing his ass off and trying to tell me I was wasting my time!!! Little did he know I can always tell when the rain is coming here in Oklahoma and tornados too...anyhow it rained about 45 minutes later. Only lasted about 20 minutes but IT WAS SO WORTH looking like an idiot in my front yard!
