My PS just informed me that the Ready for Fun outfit is not going to be changed for a while because it recently was introduced... I also dislike the Ready for Fun outfit. Oh well...I guess we will just have to wait 'till next year...
Several members do not like this outfit.
Why, I think it is cute. The tennis shoes are really different and cute. I am the Imelda Marcos of AG doll shoes.
I also like this outfit. I think it is cute. Don't know y everyone hates it...
I liked it at first. I think the reason I don't like it now is because I have ordered 2 AGOTs since it came out and my cousin has one that came in it too. I would personally like a change because I probably will want one of the new AGOTs and then I will have 3 pairs of that same outfit.
I like the outfit but I already have two of them. I was hoping for a new outfit and then if I got both of the new dolls. I would have two of a new outfit. I have three sets of Gotz twins. I dress them alike with the meet outfit.
I think you should be able to select from maybe two different outfits for the Meet outfit - say, the Ready for Fun or the Sparkly Sport (or whatever outfit you have in mind).
I agree about a need for choices. I think the outfit is cute, but not so cute that I want 3+ of them. Sure would be great if AG had a choice of three outfits to choose from. Then again, that would add a great deal of work to the warehouse, having to keep all those choices around or changing dolls into outfits on demand.

I emailed CS last year and they said that you could send in the outfit for a new one. They couldn't change the dolls before sending them out but they could exchange the outfit for you.
I love the jeans, they go great with any top! Penny primarily lives in her jeans, but I sold Charlotte's outfit on Ebay and have misplaced Diana's set. The socks are great too, a nice change from solid colors. And I love the turquoise and white shoes. And the jacket is great for cooler weather...
I think this is actually one of their best meet outfits because it looks more like something a girl would wear every day than some of the other outfits the dolls have come in.
I don't really care for it either, I can't really point a finger at anything specific that's wrong about it, I think I just find it kind of boring. I Guess I'm just more of a "dress-and-skirt"-girl and much prefer the "On-the-go" outfit, that is so cute!

I LOVE this meet outfit! I have been dreaming of buying one, but outfits are so expensive we buy very few.
I first saw it on Izzy's doll and fell in love then and continue to drool. I absolutlely love the socks and the beads on the pants.
I definitely prefer this one to the last few Meet outfits. Didn't like the skirt on the lavendar set or the urban outfit. Does ANYONE like the red vinyl jumper from the outfit before that?
I think probably the nicest meet outfit was the second one, with the striped tshirt, black stretch pants, turquoise socks and yellow fleece jacket. The suede slipons are very versatile, even working well with historical outfits like Josefina's Christmas dress.
I ended up with quite a few of the current Ready for Fun outfit and I do actually enjoy having them. I like the beaded jeans, too. The trim on the pink tshirt from the skateboard outfit that was a store special earlier this year goes perfectly with the jacket, too. I don't like the decal on the tshirt so I appliqued something else over it and love the results. Mix and match works across nearly all the meet outfits, when you think about it.
I did not like it from the catalog but when I got my doll, it came on my doll and I thought that in person it is pretty cute!

There's a link to the photo so you can see it better. She had just arrived (bought her off eBay) and wanted to go bike riding. I wanted to take some pics of her, so we headed out but I had NO idea she was a little trickster, lol. From then on I make sure she's wearing a helmet and she knows better than to goof off. Though she still does when she thinks I can't see her.

OMG, the thing you said above was what REALLY made me excited! You could exchange the Ready for Fun outfit for a whole new outfit?? Like, any other AGoT outfit?? That is just too cool...can someone clarify this if I'm mistaken? Thanks!

I never tried so maybe they won't really, but I don't think it would hurt to ask. When I wrote them I mentioned I had already bought 3 dolls and really wanted another one but didn't want yet another of the same outfit.
Oh, I forgot, thanks for the compliments on my avatar! I was hoping people would like it.
I like this one better than the wool green skirt and purple boots from before. Hopefully they will keep it around long enough so that my AGT 4 will come in it when I get around to getting her.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I like the red vinyl jumper outfit , though I will admit when I finally got one off ebay last year and put it on Zipporah I was a bit disappointed in it. It looked so cute in the pictures, but not so cute in person. But maybe I just need the right doll, lol. I LOVE the hat though and the lunchbox purse. When these items were sold I was still in the target age and I remember badly wanting a purse like that. And I remember the notebook necklaces too, those were very popular at my school. I also loved the girl clothes AG offered at the time. I remember that on the first day of school one of the new girls wore an outfit very similar to the vinyl skirt and vest outfits AG sold. Hers was bright green and the top was a crazy print though.Quote:

I have the striped shirt, velour pants outfit as well but don't like it any more. The pants are nice with other tops but the striped shirt really bothers me. Penny loves the jacket though. I don't remember the shoes, but then I got this outfit seperately as opposed to getting a doll wearing it. They sound nice though.
I really like the style of the red-vinyl one, I only wish it would have been a nice red cordoroy(sp?) or velvet, then it would have been the best meet outfit yet, next to the last one, wich I love.

I love the current meet outfit. I was so thrilled when they came out with a pair of jeans for the AGOTs. (that I didn't have to fly to NY or Chicago to buy...lol!)
I was disappointed when I bought my one and only AGOT doll last year, because she came in the old (ugly to me ) green skirt outfit. I had to buy her on the last day of that outfit, because she was being retired the next day. (she is the green eyed dark haired doll).
But I have to say that I kept her in that outfit for a while because she looked so pretty in it...the violet was just so pretty with her hair, and (dare I say it?), the green in the skirt really set her eyes off nicely.
I also (gasp!) like the red vinyl outfit! LOL! I guess it must be because I was a teen in the 80's!
