The newest member of my family

yep, another pug. this one is a little black pug named Atticus. with being on disability and always at home it gets rather boring and depressing. raising pups seems to help me through. so here's a few pics of Atty

we're gettin' a house next year, and a dog may be in the plan, but I don't want some huge beast.
cat-sized or so, maybe...

the fawn color ones you see are full grown. they usually should weigh around 16-20 lbs, but mine get spoiled too much and are overweight. let me say this Peek, you will find no other dog so loving, faithful, inteligent and fun as a pug. they are the friendliest dogs you can get. I've had alot of dogs through my life and I'll NEVER have any other type of dog other than pugs now. most pug owners would all say the same. they are the best dogs around

so they stay pretty small then?

pugs are good enough dogs that the cat probably wouldnt mind. they're not big, but they have the biggest hearts and most loving personality of any dogs around

Darth, I've been looking for a pure black one for a long time. beautiful coat on them.

also his name is from the lawyer in To Kill A Mockingbird. Just thought it was a great name. My wife came up with it and I loved the idea.

my oldest daughter wanted to name him after my board name Chaser. thought about it, but Atticus is just a cooler idea

My Aunt & Grandparents have/had Pugs for years. How is it with your cream colored Pugs and black furniture? My Aunts Pugs as they got older shed like crazy. Also (i'm sure you've done your research on them) but Pugs have this funky skin flap in their throats that they can have trouble with as they get older.

Another cutie, but remember, you can't collect all the variants of these.

lol Mort. I'm kind of an animal nut myself and had to have a house to be one. 4 dogs, 2 cats, turantula, king snake and fish. and thats after no longer having some I had! they're good companions and help keep your mind off problems

and yeah, she's an awesome dog, I might be biased because she's actually the first I've ever owned, but I freakin' love this dog. They're definately hyper, but become accustomed to being somewhat tamer over time, in other words, they'lll stay psycho, but once they're comfortable, it's a little better [img]wink.gif[/img]

Mine's hitting five and she'll still go as insane as a new puppy at times [img]tongue.gif[/img] But, she can also be the total oppostie some days, and just pass out and sleep all day [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]
