Double Pots on Ebay

These look like the oldest pots, made by Chambers Corp. themselves (or an unnamed subcontractor), before Wear Ever began production of the kettles. My triples are of that vintage.

The clips are pointed, instead of rounded. The old ones have the great old "Fireless" logo on them!

Frank, it's not a matter of need ... I don't need 7 stoves. Yes, I have considered counseling. I think I do remember seeing your bid on a set of triples. Honestly, I'm sure I thought you were done bidding or I didn't see your bid before I bid. I really do try to not bid against board members, unless of course I NEED it. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I gave up on bidding on a thermobaker and just bought one from Hugh's place. They refurbish them so they look like new, so I'm very pleased. Someday I'll even cook something with it.

Hugh's Place in Louisiana. It is listed on the Chambers stove lover's site or you can search on here. I got a thermobaker after Lori (or somebody) was so pleased with what they got. Be ready to pay 140.00 plus shipping though. Real nice folks too.

I am lucky to be the proud owner of 2 thermobakers! YEAH! I got lucky, they came with two of the stoves I purchased. One looks as though it was never used.

I sure hate to brag, BUT, my thermobaker biscuits are getting better everytime I bake them, and that is using Bisquick ! ! no more popping cans here...v

I don't pop cans for biscuit but, I still cheat! I buy the frozen biscuits (Kroger brand). They are so convenient! You can make 1 or 12. They are quite tasty.

The only time I'll do biscuits from scratch is on weekends. Weekday mornings are just too busy for that. 4 dogs to deal with, a 16 year old and my darling husband to get up and out the door.
