That would be Sandy, and he will probably be along eventually.
Only ever seen them on the video promo Welcome to the Show so I'd like to hear the Bullets and Lipstick.
i got burnt trying to buy that on ebay a couple of years back. Sent off the $$$ and received sweet f**k all in return.
If anyone knows where I can get it (original reossing, not a cdr) please let me know.
cheers
lindsay
oops, that should read 'original pressing'
Mr. Sandy Hazard of the McKrackins would be the man to talk to...he was the drummer.
That would be The McRackins Marc lol
so, how do i get ahold of him? Is he a member of this board, or is there a site I can contact him through?
I've seen a CD of Bullets... on Ebay too. But was there even a CD released officially? I have Bullets... on vinyl (someone GAVE it to me!) and there are only cat number for vinyl and tape listed. It's an awesome album though and should be persued at all costs!!
Yes he's a member of this board. Goes by the name of Hazardous.
Krikey, my PC goes on the fritz for a few days and I'm all the rage...haha
Bullets & Lipstik was released by 3 different labels and 3 different media formats.
1st was the 6 song vinyl EP on Hanover Records. Very hard to find.
Then was the full length vinyl and cassette (10 songs)on Music Line Records. We recorded 4 extra songs, Another IOU, Moonshine Daze, Down On The Floor and This Guns For Hire as the additional songs.
Then we signed a deal with Bellaphon Records in Germany who put it out on Vinyl and CD Format. The CD is incredibly hard to find
This guy was the art director at Bellaphon

You can play MP4's in Winamp as well. You need a plugin I think.
Sorry I should have done it in MP3. Was just trying to give y'all the best quality.
And here's me just getting to grips with MP3 and they change it to 4!! Barstards.
I have ituens and it works in that. Also tried em in Neros showtime & they worked in that. The file format AAC/mp4 through itunes is the protected format when ya download stuff from itunes(if I'm remembering this correctly). the idea being ya burn to cd then rip to mp3.
Grant if ya want em in mp3 I already have em in that format (not sure of the quality though)
Grant check your mail
Cheers bro, I'm up to nine and just waiting on number 10 and thats it. If you want I can send ya Suckerpunch (ex Swingin Thing) which I just got sent as well.
Suckerpunch is great!
You're at the top
You're at the top
Of my shitlist!
Cheers for the offer Grant but I already have the Suckerpunch one. Did ya get em all the version in mp3 I have only has 9 tracks
I think song 10 is Bullets and Lipstick
Grant yep thats the one I'm missing. Am gonna rip the ones ya couldn't play to cd then back to mp3 so I'll let ya know when I've done & if ya want I'll send ya the missing one.
Whoa! $120!!!!
So i take it that there are no spare cheap copies hanging around anywhere.....
That's more than I've seen Big bang Babies or Alleycat Scratch go for.
oh well, I'll keep looking!

Damn I could make a mint off all those videos I shot. SELL SELL SELL! And all those other Vancouver bands from the 80's & 90's
I've got the vinyl same six songs on both sides. I wonder what thats worth?
H.
Yeah, I got the 6 track vinyl too. Got it about 2 years ago for ?1.50!!! A guy I work with phoned me to say he was in a second hand record store and they had the PBF album on vinyl, I asked him to pick it up for me then got really confused 'cos up until then I never knew there was 2 Pretty Boy Floyds. Good stuff though.
Being that you guys are from the UK, you probably got the original Hanover Records 6 song EP. Which is the hardest to find. When we got a KKKK review in Kerrang, Shades record store in London contacted us and bought the remainder of our pressing. We shipped about 700 copies to Shades. Only a thousand were pressed of the Hanover EP. One other factoid is this. On the back of the Hanover EP is two subliminal words airbrushed into the smoke and
Tommys pant leg. You cant see them on the Musicline or Bellaphon versions of the EP-LP-CD.
Mine is the Hanover Records version. Can't make out any words on the back cover though. The smoke is "S" shaped and there's an "i" shape on Tommy's left leg that looks airbrushed but can't see anything else. Checked the inner sleeve too but still can't see anything. The photo's are very dark. As you had the trademark (according to the TM next to your name) for the PBF name did the Steve Summers version have to pay you guys anything for using the name?
Me to.
