This fig is the most awesome one I've ever bought.... but I'm afraid to touch it. All the amasing articulation makes it feel very fragile and I'm afraid I'll break it...

Nice !! It looks awesome. How big are those figs and how articulated are they?
It's actually smaller than I thought it would be, but it's on scale with my MaxFactory Thankcrus PVC kit.
Guyver 1 is technically a highschool kid so he is the shortest of the Guyvers. The fig stands as tall as Raven Spawn II, about 6 1/2" to the top of his helmet (not including the blade).
I'm not sure how many points of articulation there are but it's alot... on par with the supper articualted Spiderman except for the fingers and toes. He comes with 2 sets of extra hands and extended frequency swords for his arms if you want him in fighting mode. His chest plates also open up to reveal the "Mega Smasher" nodes.

Yeah.... I'd love to get the entire series but at $70 CDN (with shipping) it would kill my toy budget.

70 bucks each!?!?! ahhhhhhhh what a buzz kill. I was gonna ask where to get them, but man thats so high. are they metal or something? why so high?
Why so high? I ask myself that question about a lot of stuff I get from Japan. Usually one thing is the detail, but SO much stuff just never sees the light of day over here.
There's a discussion going on over at MWD about Japanese culture and their respect for toys and dolls and how they're much more willing to pay for quality and appreciate the beauty of these figures than the average person in the states.

I know nothing aboot the show/book/movie/whatever, but the figs kick ass.
and when ya get right down to it, that's all that matters.
The story behind the Bio-Booster Armour is really good. If you ever get the chance, you can (or could) rent the TV series anime or the abridged anime "movie" version.
Don't ever watch the live action.
It's been quite a few years since I've watched any of it but it had enough of an impact to make me really want the PVC kits at the time.
Hobby Link Japan has the Guyver 1 for less then that.. It IS a sweet ass figure.. Have one myself.. Have had it for months.. It's only roughly 40 going through JLH. That's where I got mine.. I also have Guyver III reissue heading to me for a little closer to 50. Should be here in the coming week, if anything like the last one.. Takes about 15 days to get to you depending on where you are because it's coming from Japan.
