Help! my Hamster is having babies what should i do ?

Oh my i noticed 5 minutes ago my hamster is having babies *L* do i leave her alone? or put her in a quiet place im not sure but she acts like she is having problems *cringes*

hmmmm......not sure what to tell ya girlie...
i know they say to keep others away from her
when they are birthing....other than that.....im
no help *L*

well she just had one and it was born dead *P* and now she is eating it *sigh*

OK baby #2 has been born and its alive and well its a big bebe *gets excited*

#3 has been born and doing well :-)

ekkk i just checked and she had bebe #4 and its doing well also :-)

Congratulations on the new babies. It sounds like Mom knew what to do. Its sad about #1. [img]confused.gif[/img]

I think she is through having babies the last count was 9 so in all she had 10 but im still not sure this lil fella is gonna make it ,she is trying to care for him but i think something is wrong with him ,so far *X's fingers* she is being a good moma

make it, momma will take care of it....they seem
to know and if she hasnt eaten it yet..she must
think it is worth saving...the sad thing about
hamsters.....hard lesson my lil men learned at
their dads when his hamster had babies...the
very first one...she ate it as soon as it was
born and Jordan threw up on his dad *L*

Thanks CG well the one did die so now she has 9 living they are all doing good.they are so cute evn though they are nekkid *L* they will have long hair like their parents.can't wait to see what they are gonna look like with hair *L*

I gave our guinea pig a bath yesterday...and
she loved it! *L* I put her in the tub and
started the water...I was so afraid she would
freak but no.........she kept running under the
water and jumping up and down.....she loved it! *L*

I need to get pictures of her and Pooh, the cat..
they have become best friends *L* Pooh sits
outside the cage just looking at Piglet and if
Pooh leaves, Piglet will keep squealing until
the cat comes back *L* Pooh has learned to keep
her paws out of the cage and NOT try to swat
Piglet because one day I heard this God awful cat
meow and I went running in to see what happened...
she had her paw in the cage and Piglet was biting
her paw *L*

It is so hard to get a good pic of the babies *L* i took some pics but i don't have a Zoom on my camera and you can't even seen the lil boogers L* she is always on them feeding them but as soon as i can maybe get her away im gonna try to take the pics againi can show you a pic of the moma hamster
