Overstock.com finally shows the mini dolls as in stock, rather than preorder. They are only $14. Walmart also has them online for a lower price then overstock, but their shipping is usually a bit more.
Hopefully this means they will ship soon. They show a picture of the old Felicity, but I assume the new Felicity will ship. They also have Elizabeth available.

Thanks for the information!

Walmart is carring mini AG's???
-
just Felicity and Elizabeth. They come with the books, so they are considered bookstore editions. They are the exact same thing as the ones from the catalog.
(Like when mini samantha was sold with the DVD. Places like Walmart, Amazon and Overstock sold her.)
Walmart does not carry non-book AG products though, don't freak out.

Like I said, the doll is probably the new one, not the old one- so don't get your hopes up. And I imagine sold wherever AG books are sold- at least online.

I wonder if the Walmart dolls will go on the "free store delivery" program as soon as the "preorder" status is removed? $12.76 tempts me a lot for the new Felicity mini gown, and perhaps I'd finally get a decent looking Elizabeth that way. Can't beat free delivery to the local store. Heaven knows I'm there all the time anyway!

From what I read it looks like only Dallas-Ft Worth,TX get free in store pickup.
Everwhere else the product is shipped to your home.
-
All the books and such show free in store pick up for me, but not the dolls. If that changes, I'll be ordering.
-
I just ordered these off overstock.com and they are 13.18 each and $1.00 shipping for as much as you order all weekend long!!!!
I believe I paid $27.36 for both dolls with shipping ( $1.00 total)
I wonder how long it will take to get them though?
-
I'm getting impatient to get mine- I wish they would hurry up and ship them. I am really worried about what they look like. Some of the Elizabeth's have been a bit creepy.
Overstock charges a restocking fee on returns and at $25 for both of them, I will probably sell on ebay if they are really bad.
Otherwise these dolls are for my office.

I ordered mine from overstock a couple of months ago and have been waiting and waiting. Hopefully now I'll get mine soon!
-
Yeah, I ordered them in early August thinking "expected to ship 9/05" would mean early sept. silly me.
I posted this because I know a few people preordered them, and they are finally showing up as available to ship- no longer pre order status.
-
OOOH Overstock.com is great! We get all of our bedding and towels from them and many of our video games and books.
I got a gorgeous cashmere sweater for like $30. It was very thin cashmere, but a great price. I also got memory foam pillows 2 for $30. We bought my husband one at a store and it was priced at $100 (thankfully, we had a coupon.)
I have a friend who buys jewerly on there too, and she has always been very happy.
Consider this a GLOWING review of overstock. Their shipping has never been a problem before, it just seems like it is because I preordered so long ago.

Are these mini dolls the ones with the wierd eyes? They had some at the MCM Sale this summer but there was something about the eyes, I just did not like?
Carol

I assume these are the current mini dolls because most book sellers have Felicity and Elizabeth avialable online right now.
They do have the painted on eyes.
-
Wow!!!!!!!! I didn't know it could take that long, I sure hope they come quicker than that!!!
Please post back when you get yours!!! Thanks, Amy
-
cassieandnicolesmom- don't worry, yours shouldn't take that long.
Those of us who have been waiting forever pre-ordered. It actually said they were not available and would ship sept. 2005 (they didn't say when during the month though). Since you ordered when they were already in stock, you should get them in a reasonable amount of time that overstock.com takes to ship.
-
Thanks!!! I have never ordered off there before, but couldn't resist the good deal. I will post when I recieve them also.

dollie45-you're probably referring to the original inset eyes that were first avialable on the first 6 dolls. They look like glass eyes and are more three dimentional. The current eyes are painted on.
I saw an inset eye Felicty once at a doll store and a neighbor gave me an old AG catalog from 1998 with a picture of the original mini dolls.
Personally I think the inset eyes made the dolls look kind of creepy but maybe that's because I'm used to the painted on eyes and didn't even know about the first versions until years after I got into AG, which was about 4 years ago.

Watch me go as I revive dead threads.
Did anyone who ordered Mini Felicity from Wal-Mart get her yet? If so, which dress is she wearing? The flowered one or the purple one?
-
he he!! oH, Avione, at first they still had the rose garden one, but now it's the lavendar travelling gown.
Don't you wish they would make "mini doll dresses"?
-
That's really cool!
Acctually, I saw @ the Wal~Mart near me, they had the Samantha paper dolls, & Nellie's Promise book!! I was SOO EXCITED!! They also sell the Samantha DVD.{& Of course the Felicity one to!}
-
I certainly do Katya! I just don't care for the purple dress. *Sigh*
