Cheers for bringing attention to the torrent...I just finished d'loading it. It has some nice artwork that accompanies the flac files.
But for some reason I'm under the impression that the sound is somewhat off...as if you're running a record at a speed that's a tad off.
Is it just me? anyone here who grabbed it as well?

I have the show in MP3 format and I came across the same idea, Sascha! It's a pity cause it's a good quality show!

Can anyone point towards a good reference of using these torrents? I have a vague, general idea of how they work but I could use some info as to how to download, extract, play etc the downloaded files. I know it just isn't as easy as downloading from Soulseek!

2) install it
3) download the torrent-file to your harddrive (it's usually just a few kb in size)
4) start the client and when it asks you what to download, point it to the torrent file on your hard drive and give it a location to save the show

...now you're all set...well that's a guide in a nutshell, but a quick search in google came up with dozens of great guides that are much more detailed...

Download a encoder/decoder application from Sourceforge (Macintosh, Linux/UNIX, and Windows) I recommend xACT for Mac users. Another option for Windows users is FLAC for Windows.

These applications will allow you to decode the FLAC files to WAV or AIFF. Then you can burn the WAV or AIFF files to an audio CD with your favorite burning software.

The latest Nero release (Nero 7 premium) allows you to burn right from the .flac files, so you can avoid the re-encoding step. Just download the torrent and burn to disc.

Also...Winamp will allow direct play for FLAC formatted files using the FLAC Plugin.
