DAVY VAIN!!!! all the way!
Davy Vain. Done a helluva a lot more for music IMO.
Not even close: Star Star.
They do the type of stuff I enjoy most, and Vain is still a little too "Hair Band"/"Sunset" for me. Plus with Vain, there was the one song a few years ago that sounded exactly like Smashing Pumpkins. I'll find the song when I get home. I just think Vain is highly overrated in the Glam community.

Love Star Star, but I prefer Vain...
Star Star for me , loved Vain's first album but nowhere near as much as I love Star Star's and the following Vain albums were poor , especially the last one

My Vain DVD, by the way, is back on. We re-entered

Davy Vain is the better vocalist, I always got the impression that the guy from Star Star was putting on a faux-camp voice, and thats alright but I just prefer Vain.
I think that it's fair to say the follow ups to "no respect" were poor in comparison with that album, I was at the Dudley gig on the UK tour and although it was fairly good, the attendance was terrible.
I was quite excited about hearing the last album when I heard it was being done , but I got bored half way through it, thought it was very samey!!
Star Star!... but like most of you I love Vain's first album too.

Years' was exciting, when I first heard it,
but I eventually stopped listening to it because
of those silly vocals.

I'd have to go with Davy tho, purely and simply as imo he's pure S.E.X. in every sense... vocally, musically, inspirationally, image, taste.... I'll shut up now *tehehehe
I'm listening to Vain's "On The Line" CD right now. Reminds me of Gene Loves Jezebel a bit.

I have no clue who I preffer myself. I consider them both as some of my favourite singers. I love all the VAiN albums and also the 2 Star Star records...
Someone wrote on this thread that VAiN has done more for rock'n'roll and that can't be discussed.... of course they have!
But still..... Hmmmm.... I gove up LOL
