Sober bloke? I remember some drunk bloke who's band I always seemed to play with, wound up uping sticks & moving 100miles to live with him for a coupla years or so, putting togther a band that did more gigs / recordings than all my other bands put together & then all going our seperate ways on a fairly amicable basis... but I could be getting you mixed up with someone else!
Welcome to the board / bored mate... (& see you on the 10th you punky rascal!!!)

<font size="4" face="Arial">On and off. I've done a few bands since the Bureau finished (one of which was a Misfits tribute!), and I'm just on the process of getting a new one together. In fact the new lineup has its first rehearsal this week.Quote:

Welcome to the Board mate. And give Marky your demos - he'll work wonders with them.
Yep welcome Andy. Great to have ya on board.
Hey Welcome to the board Andy (Not another Andy)
Good to hear ya getting back into playing. It must be hard after 8 years.
Get yourself on the Glitzine map and Enjoy your stay!
Hell 2 Andy's & an Andii. Jeez am i gonna get totally confused now lol
Allo, I'm Andy. I started out in Raggy Dollz, onto Bratpack, then to Dogsbody, then Ex-Boyfriends.
Gave it all up for 8 years, grew up, got fat etc etc.....now back into it in The Daves....A punk Covers Band.
So, who's out there?
Anyone from Waterbratz, Skintrade, Rich Rags, Raggity Anne, Poze etc etc?
We have some people from Skintrade, Rich Rags and a few others popping on here. I used to edit a popular glam fanzine that may have covered your band. Where you in the Rag Dolls, because I don't remember the Raggy Dolls!.
Oh yeah and welcome to the board!
<font size="4" face="Arial">Welcome, Marky is the man to beef up yer bits. Oh yes.Quote:

Summer 1989, about to go on stage with The Rockit Dolls at the Town Gardens in the thriving cultural metropolis of Swindon.

the Rockit Dolls in the Town Gardens, 1989.
Im in the middle, Darryl (Gunstone) is on my left and the guy in the long coat is Billy (obviously he was the bassist as he was tall!!!)

Rock and Roll and gently patterned wallpaper. This was me in Love Like Us crica 93
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d5...4130/Mark3.jpg
And this was after one of many Love Like Us gigs at the Dolly in Oxford. Think this one was circa 93/4.

Another Rockit Dolls picture from 89. Probably the worst EVER gig we did.
Maybe it was the worst musically, but we'd looked GREAT!!!
Which is by far the more important thing. As the godlike Tony James said "You can teach people to play drums, you cant teach people to have cheekbones!!"
http://www.rockit-dolls.co.uk/Images...voirDolls2.jpg
The original request from Sherri was also for pics as we are now .... this was actually 11 years ago at a Rockit Dolls re-union gig but it's a reasonable reflection of what Mark & myself look like these days!
Although the skinhead has gone to the wall in favour of the Social Distortion quiff!!
http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...-picture1.jpg?
And here's the next generation ...... due March 5th 2006!
Mark - Your picture of the guy who beat anorexia had me bent over double laughing for about ten minutes!!! I'm still going!
Was the worst gig ever in 89 not to the same standard as the the Bassett hall reunion show? I loved it but I think the bass player had probably the best night... until he started playing! Mr. Gunstone was not a happy camper off the back of that...
At the officially worst gig two of us with slaughtered as opposed to just the one at the recent gig you saw, so it was therefore twice as bad ....
It's the beauty of the glam genre... you can get as wankered as you like knowing that it can often add to the show! ST sold more merchandise at the gigs where certain members couldn't stand! Apart from your Richie Emborg story of course...
