Dolls' Dolls

I am wanting to get the doll?s dolls but am wondering if anyone has some reviews to post. Are they worth $15-$18? They are all lovely, and I think the dolls would be so cute holding them. Which is your favorite? Do you have a least favorite?

(And I just looked at Lydia for the first time, although I don?t have Nellie and won?t get her, WOW, she is exactly like the book. Maybe I will get her instead of the Nutcracker doll.)

Also has anyone noticed that all the dolls are either listed by name (Addy?s Ida Bean Doll, Josefina?s Nina Doll), have the name in the product description (Sari, Charlotte, Lydia), or don?t have names in the book (Kit?s Amelia Earhart doll, Molly?s Nurse, Samantha?s Nutcracker doll) except Felicity?s doll. I guess they couldn?t fit Susannah Marie Augusta Eliza Lucy Louise in there. (That was always my favorite doll name, and I was so proud when I memorized before any of my other AG friends.)

Man I wish I had bought a few when they were on special a couple of months back.

I have a few:

Kit's Amelia Earhart doll: soooooo cute! I love her little removable hat and outfit. I don't have Kit, so my Molly loves to pose with her. If you have Molly's aviator outfit, it is really cute to pose your doll wearing the outfit, holding the Amelia Earhart doll. Definitely a must-have! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Lydia doll: cute! Her outfit is very pretty and her hair is nice. Nellie looks sweet holding her. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Samantha's Nutcracker doll: It's ok, but my least favorite. I don't like her outfit and hair as well as Lydia's. She kind of stiff and not as cuddly. I'd pass on this one if someone hadn't given it to me as a gift.

Those are the only ones I have, but I'd love Kirsten's, Felicity's, and Elizabeth's dolls. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I have Felicity's, Samantha's, Nellie's, Kit's, and Molly's. They are some of my favorite accessories and usually one of the first things I'll get for the doll. They need their dolls after all! I can't say anything bad about any of them, except I wish Samantha's doll would sit down because Lydia can!

My girls have Kit and Kirsten's dolls. Both are very cute! They tend to go on sale fairly regularly. If you want them, I'd just wait til they went on sale again- or maybe buy your very favorite one, and then wait on the others.

This was something that I was wondering myself. They do look cute holding gtheir dolls!

I have Felicity and Molly's dolls. I'm really not that thrilled with Felicity's fashion doll, and have rarely played with it. I love Molly's nurse on the otherhand - though I don't think it's quite worth $18. I agree, i'd wait to get that on sale.

I love Sari and Ida Bean. The older PM Sari is prettier for some reason but she looks so much like an old-fashioned rag doll and mini Kirsten. Ida Bean is so sweet. She's filled with "beans" and has tiny hoop earings like Addy's and tiny little pantaloons. Kit's Amelia Earhart doll is cute too. Her hat, boots and gloves come off. Sam's Nutcracker doll is pretty but she's not soft and my girls prefer soft toys to cuddle with.

I only have Kirsten's doll. I got it off ebay about a year ago, but I'm not sure if it's PM or not. She's really cute and Kirsten loves her!

I think the Sari dolls are hand made (or used to be) because nearly every picture I see of one looks different. Just little things like the way her yarn-hair lays down or how her clothes might be a little different. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have all the doll's dolls except for Nellie's and Elizabeth's. I got them when they were all on monthly special. Most of them are rag dolls, except for Samantha's which is porcelin, Felicity's is wood and Molly's is plastic. I actually don't like the fact that Kit's dolls' cap comes off because I can't keep it on when I move it. The dolls are all very cute and true to the time periods of the girls.

I just ordered Molly's doll last week and have heard from others here how cute she is. Looking forward to seeing the doll myself.

I have Kit's Ameila Earhart, Sari and Lydia. I love all of them! In fact, I think the doll's dolls make a great little mini collection of their own! When I get my dream AG display, I'll probably have a place for the dolls to display all the time, even when the girls don't have them in their scences. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have Kit & Molly's dolls, and I have to say it really adds to my Christmas display to have them holding their dolls. (I used a clear elastic to hook them to their arms.)
My mom has the dolls for her dolls, Josefina, Kaya and Addy. I have vote for Ida Bean as my all time favorite! She is so cute with her little dress and earrings. I'd like to have the small one, and then a big rag doll just like it!
