"Looking slim for me this coming year. Which is good for the pocketbook!"

This seems to be a common refrain. I'll get the Billy Idol.

There are actually plenty of things I'll be getting from TMP next year. The album covers being one of them.
I know as a consumer you don't have to buy everything, but I'm tired of Mcfarlane's Twisted themes. The thing is is that these lines have potential, but TMP often then not goes over the top. Over the top is good at times, but TMP has been fucking it up lately.

Damn, I missed that one. Does that mean all the stuff I used to have on my desk in December over at McF is now a toy line?

KillerKanuck

The Twisted Christmas Tales bit wasn't there when I looked this morning.
That's gotta be the most fucked idea for a line that they've come up with yet. And not in a good way, either.

Woo !! Hooks and Chains baby jesus !!!!!!!! This can't be serious.

Well, I could see Crucifix Jesus for Easter (although odds are he'd have tattoos also).

Somehow I'm guessing that Walmarts won't carry this new line... and with Media Play out of the picture too, there's not a huge number of retailers to carry the "disturbed" stuff.

-megalithanod

It wasn't there last night - just "Monsters" - it was updated today it looks like.

Check the site - I didn't add it there! Honest!

Although I have to say that one is one that probably won't be making it on the list for next year......
December 21st, 2005, 04:50 AM
Peter Peeker

I expect it'll be Santa, elves and reindeer.
not the Virgin Mary giving birth to a goat or something.

I don't see anything. I thought you were going to post a list of McFarlane stuff for 2006, Megs? Where is it? Do I have to go to another thread or something? Do I have to go to the white's only board?

The Christmas stuff would be cool if Mezco did it. I have no interest in another MCf Monster line with no monsters. Especially if it's anything like Fairy tales. Keep the sculptors and hire a new design team. Sandy Collura's done some awesome stuff for Mez. My comic store has no room for new merch there's so much McF stuff hanging that they can't get rid of.
