The darling pictures people share of their dolls.
To know your not the only adult that loves her AG dolls.
The codes.
The help with concerns.

I first came to this board to learn about the retirement of Felicity items a few years ago.
This is the first and only online community I belong to. It started out as a good place to go while waiting out some e-Bay auctions.
I have "met" many nice and interesting people - the only people who will talk in such minute detail about every aspect of AG with me.
Sometimes people get mad or busy and leave this community, but many come back. Overall, this is a great board. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I have learned so much from all of you!
To repeat what Melissa said, I keep coming back because everyone is so helpful, friendly, and generally very cheerful and upbeat!
Speaking of people leaving the board...has anyone seen kitschywoman?

I agree with everything everyone has said. Nothing and no place in this life is perfect. Overall, this is a very good place to be personalites, tiffs, and all. The good always outweighs the negative!

Once I found this board I've never left. It's a great place with great people. Sometimes I don't agree with others or my feelings get hurt but that happens with my own family too and I wouldn't leave them either. I love hearing about everyone's families and everyone's love og AG's.
I keep coming back because I fit in here. Or I think I do. You people are so nice, even if you're AG Goners...
I'd just miss you if I couldn't come on here.

I feel like I know so many people here that I would probably not have taken time to get acquainted with in "real life" because our personalities are so different. Here, our common love of AG brings us together in spite of our differences.
I started jotting down this list and then forgot to post it. When people were leaving the board (and I hope everyone comes back!) it got me to start thinking about why I always return to the board. Here are some things I'm thankful for. If you'd like, you can add on to the list, too!
* Everyone is so helpful. Members have even measured things for me (like Samantha's stereoscope and Kirsten's carpetbag).
* If you ask a question about an item (color, details, quality, etc.), people will go out of their way to answer it for you.
* You get to "meet" others who collect dolls--a wide age range.
* Due to good detective work, this is the place to get the scoop on new items--even before anyone anywhere else knows!
* Members are interested in other doll lines that I like as well, such as Only Hearts Club and Life of Faith.

*you meet people like you
*you build friendships with people who can understand you better than some other people
*everyone is caring and understanding
*When I'm here I feel like I am part of one, big, happy family.
*people are sweet and want you to be their friend.
