This is what I would like to do...aprons are dandy but I look ridiculous in them. Not that cooking on a Chambers is fashion...although the Idle Hour Cookbook Lady is very fashionable....I researched Chefs Shirts, long sleeve with a band collar. My brother in law runs a silk screen business, state of the art equipment, he said he would be happy to silk screen the shirts with the Chambers logo..if it's legal. So, aside from the legality, what color logo would you like ? The shirts come in either while or black. If we select white shirts, almost any color we agree upon would work. If we all want black shirts, the logo color will be more retricted...probably white or a light blue...suggestions welcome and appreciated ! Let me know if you're interested and I will start the pricing game.

I think the chef shirts are a great idea, but would love to see an apron as well. I like to wear a lite shirt when cooking and have the apron to keep from getting dirty. I get hot in the kitchen and a long sleeve shirt would bother me. Can we do both. Would love the red logo and probably blue background. White is really hard to keep clean.....I'm talking from experience, my hubby goes through 3 doz white jackets a year.

I have permission from the Whirlpool Legal Dept. to reproduce the CHAMBERS literature, and use the logo's on th website, as long as I make sure that I put the copyright as belinging to the Chambers Corp. and do not claim to BE the Chambers Corp.
They explained to me that by doing it that way, anyone who has the rights to the original copyrights is referenced.

Good thing my brother is an attorney...I will ask him how to do this so that we don't wind up in the judge's CHAMBERS !

I'd go for one of those HOOK 'EM HORNS shirt too! Personally, I think that a white shirt with a burnt orange CHAMBERS would look great.
Whatever the color, I want at least one.

While in the shower this morning I came up with another idea you'all might consider.
A patch with the Chambers logo............ You could sew it on whatever you wish: shirts, hats, apron, Harley jacket, underwear, etc.

It's kinda like that one, but it doesn't cross in the back. The only place I've found that still sells them by me is the Ben Franklin store. I have my Grandma's but the fabric is starting to literally disintegrate. I think I'm going to take it apart and use it as a pattern. Maybe I can do something to preserve the original fabric and make something with it.
Wow, It's funny how one little thing can bring back so many memories! I miss my gram, and she's been gone 20 years now. She used to call her car Tillie, maybe I'll name my range Tillie. I know I'd think of her everytime I said it.

Oooohhhh, that's the best! Patches are pretty cheap in quantity. I just ordered a custom one for the music boosters. I think they were about $1.19 for 500. They send a detailed computer photo of what the finished product will look like before you approve the order. Even with the smaller quantity it should be very cost effective. We could include the logo and one of the lady's on the cookbook, a picture of one of the ranges, or maybe a shirtless chef at the broiler (sorry that would be male chef I'm talking about), the possibilities are endless. HAHAHAHAHA I've become the mad patch lady! HAHAHAHAHAHA
I like those old aprons that you put your arms thru and put over your head. I don't like the regular aprons hanging on my neck. I'd love to make one to match my Chambers and put the patch on that.
