Mornin' folks. Had a little blizzard here yesterday - not a whole lotta snow down but the wind kept it moving. Didn't even have to really shovel to get out of the driveway this morning (god bless 4 wheel drive [img]biggrin.gif[/img] ).
So in honor of the blizzard, iced coffee made with fresh snow. And yellow snow for those that want lemon ice tea.

we got some snow last night too.

Although I did give her one of those 12" rotocast hulks to chew on for a while - used to carry it around with her by the arm. Then a foot disappeared. Then a hand. We have absolutely no snow whatsoever. January has been a strange mild month. I get this feeling that Mom Nature is gonna settle up with us in February. [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img]
Up until yesterday, you could still see grass on yards and in the fields. Usually there's a couple feet of snow. They're calling for rain on the weekend and up to +8C (about 46F) so the snow won't last. Fucking weird.

and yeah, winter's been pleasant here.
-6 yesterday...whereas it SHOULD have been -30 or more.

we don't get much of US beers up here...
and even the supposed US stuff is made in Canada.
like, up here, Bud is made by Labatt's, I think.
or Molson, I forget which.
if ya ever swing up this way, be sure to try Maudite, or La Fin Du Monde.
French Canadian beers (those folks know how to drink). great stuff, and pretty potent.
you can get 'em in 40oz bottles.

my mother used to have a doberman that would eat bras, panties, and socks..and managed to pass them all whole. you can imagine what the piles that dog left in the yard looked like...
