I agree with your intuition but think you have interpreted it wrong.

I don?t think it will be a terrorist attack, but full-scale nuclear attack either by Israel on Iran or the other way around.

I believe that Iran is a lot further along than we hear reported. I also believe that Iraq was very close to deploying WMDs and the reason we didn?t find them was because they were moved to Iran and Syria.

We will find out soon.

But I know that people take numerology very seriously (Kabbalah anyone?) and although I had not considered it before, you have a point about the date.

Look at the psychological impact of the date: 06/06/06.

Like I said I hope I'm wrong but my instinct is telling me, be extra careful on that day.

An exchange between Iran/Israel has been on my mind too. 06/06 was the same day the 6 Day War started in 1967 wherein The Arab League vowed to "drive Israel into the sea" and got their asses kicked and lost territory instead, and on 06/06/82 Israel invaded Lebanon driving out the Palestinians.

Fascist Opus Dei fanatics practice "acts of personal mortification", but they openly describe these acts as nothing more than fasting, celibacy, etc etc. But then again, as with most "publicly open" secret societies, they only tell you what they want you to know.

They are known as the radical right wing crazies of the Catholic Church, and they have had some major success in snaking their way into the top echelons of the Church hierarchy. So if you combine a cult-like group with a religion that is known for keeping secrets, you get a very clandestine organization that has mastered disinformation. That being said however, I don't know of any violent personally destructive physical rites they preform.

Yes they do, but it is limited in scale, uses wips not sharp metal and practiced in secrecy. The Muslims have hundreds of thousands of these fanatical idiots and they run around in public for the whole world to see.

These people are dangerous. At the battle of Nicopolis in Hungary in 1396 the combination of (what we now call) English, French, Germans and Italians got together with the Hungarians and defeated the Ottoman Empire. That's what stopped Islam from conquering Eastern Europe.

Ferdinand and Isabella of Christopher Columbus fame stopped them from taking over Spain. Now if the French coalition had lost at Nicopolis and Spain had been overrun we'd all be ragheads.

Islam's goal then and now is to convert every single person in the world by whatever means necessary. And while Christianity was no better back in the 7th century, that's not their doctrine now. Islam is stuck in the 7th century.

For those of you who have read Frank Herbert's Dune, you'll know that when developing the Fremin culture, he based it all on his study of Islam.

You guys need to wake up. It's happening.

I'm 100% in agreement with Trav on this.

You cannot look at the news without seeing some radical muslims killing people, rioting, causing mayhem and destruction. I think 99.9% of them are mentally deranged with delusions of being on a "mission" from God.

Well..Muslim domination of the world aside, I am quite certain that despite the "shock and Awe" 'cough, cough, hack, bullshit' that we have unleashed only a limited and microscopic attack on Muslims.

It would be my hope that if MDOTW (Muslim domination.....) is accepted by civilized nations as fact, that we begin to target muslim population centers and begin wholesale destruction of the muslim infrastructure. Roads, schools, hospitals, utilities, Radio & Television, mosques, and yes...muslims. Local muslim populations would be quarentined and watched.

We haven't even begun to come near making total war on these assholes. I hope Allah realizes that.

All Muslims are terrorists in one form or another. It is a basic part of their religion to convert every single human in any way they feel is justified. Just because at this time a majority of them don?t strap on bombs and blow people up does not mean they don?t agree at some level no matter the face they present to western society.

The conflict is inevitable; it has been predicted in both Islam and Christianity. I for one hope that the destruction is mainly limited to the Middle East. So far, except for our Revolution and the war of northern aggression we have managed to keep most of the collateral damage from wars out of this country.

Despite his championship status, Ali was one anxious man in the spring of 1965. In addition to the very real fear of facing Sonny Liston once again, his marriage was in shambles, and his life in jeopardy.

On Feb. 21, the night of Malcolm's assassination, a highly suspicious fire erupted in his apartment. Two days later, someone firebombed the Nation of Islam headquarters in New York. As Ali trained for his May rematch with Liston, he had reason to be grateful for the protection the FBI offered.

"The atmosphere surrounding the fight was ugly," reflects sportswriter Jerry Izenberg. Rumors abounded of a retaliatory strike against Ali. There were rumors, too, of Muslim threats against Liston. The stone-faced Fruit of Islam guards were intimidating and everywhere. Although Izenberg would accept Ali as "Ali" long before most of his peers, the Ali of this period unnerved him.

Izenberg recounts an impromptu press conference a week or so before the fight. When a reporter asked Ali if he was worried about Malcolm's "people," Ali snapped back, "What people. Malcolm ain't got no people." Izenberg was one of the few journalists of the period, in or out of sports, to respect Malcolm X. It chilled him that Ali would dismiss the now dead Malcolm so coldly just "because somebody tells you he's nobody."

Held in the unlikely town of Lewiston, Maine, this second Liston fight proved to be more "Punch and Judy" than the expected horror show. It began much like the one in Miami with Liston stalking and Ali circling and jabbing. Less than two minutes in, while many in the small crowd were still settling into their seats, Liston slumped on to the canvas. "What happened?" Ferdie Pacheco remembers the crowd shrieking as if one. Ali, understanding the ramifications, stood above Liston yelling, "Get up, you bum. No one is going to believe this."

Almost too casually, Liston rolled over on to his back and looked up at the ranting Ali. Celebrity referee Jersey Joe Walcott could not begin the count until Ali headed for a neutral corner, but Walcott was slow to corral him. Meanwhile, boxing historian Nat Fleischer ? "a little, wrinkled old man," as Pacheco describes him ? ran down to the ring and started shouting that more than 10 seconds had expired, and the fight was over.

In the midst of all the confusion, Liston had gotten up and resumed fighting. Yielding to Fleischer's authority, although he had none, Walcott stopped the fight. The crowd started chanting, "Fix, fix, fix." Given the circumstances, their outrage seemed more understandable than anything else that had transpired.

Even in replay, the celebrated knock-out punch is hard to see. "I'm so fast, I even missed the punch on TV," Ali would admit. In time, he would come to call it his "anchor punch." Most everyone else refers to it as "the phantom punch." Jose Torres, broadcasting for a Spanish language station in New York, recorded his commentary, and again he was on the money, "a perfect shot to the jaw, right on the button and Liston is down."

When later asked by the California boxing commission why he did not get up, Liston replied, "Commissioner, Muhammad Ali is a crazy man." Liston then made an entirely rational case that a manic Ali, still in center ring, could smack him down as soon as he tried to stand up. Torres makes the equally rational case that Liston feared the Muslims a good deal more than he feared Ali.

Whatever the true explanation, it went to the grave with Sonny six years later.

The silence of the majority of muslims speaks volumes. I sincerely believe they ALL subscribe to the same agenda, it's just that the majority of them prefer to let the extremists do the dirty work. The end result they are all in agreement about. They try to force their beliefs on every culture they encounter. I do think they do the rest of the world a favor by keeping their women covered in public....

I just cant help but think of the Christian missionaries in deepest Africa spreading the word of the lord to the indigeonous tribes or the Bible bashers of America spreading the lords words to the native Americans. Trouble with Christianity eventually the Flock saw through the lies and left, Indeed I would imagine Athiestism or neo paganism is rapidly outgrowing christianity.

So what happened on 6/06/1906 or 6/06/1806 or 6/06/1706 or 6/06/1606, personally, if you were going to worry about a date it should have been November 7, 2000. It is just going to be another day, it may be uneasy for some, but another day is all it is.

Unfuckingbelievable.

How anyone with half a brain (no Trav you don't make the cut but GL just might) could "look at the news" and actually think that what they see represents what the majority of any group is up to, is beyond me.

The news, most notably television news, is not about accurate commentary on life on this planet. It is about highlighting the spectacular and encouraging the rubes who watch it to think that what they see is some sort of representation of normalcy.

Toss in the over-the-top partisan truth-killers like Faux news with their incessant hammering of their daily talking points and it's a wonder anyone has any idea of what's really going on.

Just because you see some idiots on the tube "rioting" does not give you any insight into what those 99.9% others do or feel. It just shows you what the loud and violent minority are doing at the very moment that the cameras are there.

I really don't care where you consider me to be in relation to pond scum. It is, however, disturbing that you use relatives as yard sticks. Perhaps something less personal for you than pond scum would be appropriate and less indicative of the simplicity of the gene pool you draw upon.
