Del sol shell

hey guys i need a del sol shell for a buddy of mine any help ? i look in craigslist, need it quick thanks

geez...those are like once in a blue moon type deal. The only one's i've ever seen are usually listed on www.nwstreetracing.com goodluck!

yeah i saw one on nwsr

but they are hard to come by there was a guy selling one for hella cheap but it needed a little body work i think it was on nwsr

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep, it's pretty tight getting in there on the quarter even with all the interior panels off.

And Ed he is talking about the outer panel, need a few spoons, dollys to do it with, besides some hammer metal shrinking skills. Not as bad as doing it on a El camino, I remember doing a bit of that on mine, but having long arms definitely help, but it was just had minor stuff, not crushed.

Not if you don't have access to a shop and shop tools. Trying to pound out the quarter panel damage on the drivers side of Holly right now and it's a pain. You've got the rear firewall, fuel filler, inner fender well... not to mention the wind and rain! [img]confused.gif[/img]

if we're talkin about the inner firewall...i would start to call that more than just bodywork. Frame work is more of what i classify it as. If its not just work on the outside sheet metal...yes its a diff story haha. But with that kind of damage...i'd get it fixed somehow and sell the car asap.

my...mind...doesn't want to..compute...crushed...qtr panels....AHHHH. My qtr panel is pretty banged up but thank goodness it isn't crushed!

hey whats going on everyone... long time no post... well i saw the topic for this one and well funny enough i have two del sol's one that i dont know that i am going to be able to repair, and the other a stock which is my daily driver... anyways how much is the person who is looking for the shell willing to pay... and i got a ton of body parts too...

I actually dont go to that school anymore, but i am working full time at the northgate mall... yay tons of fun... not really thats why i dont know if i have time to actually fix the other del sol so i dont know if i am just going to get rid of it or try to fixer up...

i may need parts!!!!
