Greetings all! Went and saw "The Lion King" at Lansing's Wharton theater last night. What an incredible production! Kudos to the stage and costume designers! Just an amazing treat for the eyes. The musical performance was awesome too.
The only shortcoming IMO was that the script is taken directly from the Disney movie. You know where all the jokes are and they just don't come off as crisp. Plus, nobody can truly recreate Nathan Lane's role as Timon.

Well Peter, I am using public transportation as my car is broken, and I live really far away to work. Is taking me arround 45 to 1 hour to get here, and I have to walk a couple of KMs to reach the stations and transfers....
