If you look under the sticky for "Your AG related website", she posted on the first page. It's under her first link. When you open that site, look for the link for her AG dolls on the left. Once you're there, it's the 3rd pic down on that page. The one of 5 dolls fishing. It's so cute! I was so surprised to see a picture that I recognized! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Imagine is a trial magazine that AG is trying out right now to see how good the response is to it. A lot of us got a free one in AG orders around Christmas and it came with a card to mail in for a free subscription. (Mine happened to come with a doll order, don't know about anyone else's.) It's seasonal, so it will only be for 4 mags a year.
It's for girls and their dolls, so it's pretty thin, but very cute! I would have loved something like this when I was "actively" playing with Kirsten. [img]smile.gif[/img] HTH.
I recognized the last page right away! [img]wink.gif[/img] That is awesome!!
I got Imagine today!!! I'd had a terrible day and there it was, waiting for me in the mailbox. Hurrah!

Yeah, that's the picture, the girls fishing -- I LOVE it!!! I love outdoor photos of dolls. I have to admit that I was surprised to see a picture in there of dolls wearing retired and non-AG outfits. Love, love, love the Cargo outfit -- it's one of my all-time faves so I was excited to see it in Imagine!

I love that this initial subscription is free, but I wish there was more to Imagine -- 22 pages is not enough! I hope that when the paid-for subscriptions start, the magazines will be longer and not so few and far between. The pictures in there are so cute -- I just want them to go on and on and on!

Julia's AG book just came out on the AG Website a couple of weeks ago. It is called <u>Tiny Treats.</u> It is an adorable and very clever book. I just got it a few days ago.

The mags are still coming. I got two copies today. Not sure how that happened, but I'm sure Ashley won't be complaining about having her very own copy!
We got our copy in today's mail. It's really cute. I'm sure my DD will love looking through it when she gets home from school. For those of you who haven't received yours yet, it will probably come soon! - Meg B.
Alright, I cannot wait any longer....I HAVE to go get Tiny Treats today! I was going to wait until the next AG club meeting at Barnes & Noble to pick it up, but that's not until the 25th. By the way, we are celebrating Kit this month, and the girls will learn how to make a newsletter like Kit did.
My daughter will be so excited to make an unexpected trip to B&N after school! I called them and asked them to hold a copy for me, and the lady on the phone who went back to the kids' section to pull the book said, "Oh my gosh, this stuff is so cute!"

Although, on the crafts page, I like how they mixed pieces from different outfits on #25. She sure does look cute in those rectangle glasses! I wonder if the purple shirt maybe came from the retired Denim Jumper?
Anyway, I think the mag is really great for girls, but it could be much thicker. Especially if it is soon to become a subscription to pay for.
I got mine last week. I'm quite disappointed with this publication, they could do so much with it, but they aren't stepping up.
At least half the pictures inside are the exact same as the "stock" photos from the website, and there really isn't much new content in the 22 pages.
I absolutely love the Imagine pictures on the inside back page, but even this isn't a new idea, they were doing this with the original AG magazing back in the 90s (not sure they still do), and they even published a book with the same idea, Imagine the Girl in the Picture or something.
I can't wait until they ask for some sort of review on the magazine, I'm going to say "love the concept, but it's too short." I finished looking at it in about 5 minutes, and it wouldn't have taken more than 10 when I was in the target age range.

They thanked me for the feedback & said they welcome all reviews. IMHO, I think it's short because it is free. For a free publication I was impressed. I don't think they would expect paying subscriber's for such a small magazine. If they receive enough positive feedback they will most likely make it longer & a paid subscription.Quote:

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I *so* hope you're right, if they get the page count up to about 50, (which is about the length of the regular AG Mag), I'd probably pay for a subscription when the time comes, but as it is, I'm very glad I'm getting it for free, and like you, I do think it's great for the current "price." I really think the magazine is a great idea, with lots of potential, and I hope they rise to fulfill the potential when they start advertisting for it.Quote:
