Believe he was done in by the ol' Smack a few years ago. There was mention of it on this site. Kind of like a Rene Berg, just disappeared, and then word got around he passed.
Ya know, now that I am looking through the 'net, it seems there is no mention of his demise. Though I know I have read of it. What is 100% certain is that nobody knows his whereabouts. So, I might be right in my memory of him passing. But for sure, nobody has heard from him.
Fuck. First I've heard of it...
I remember that there was discussions about billy being alive or not on old Hanoi Rocks-board few years ago, when somebody had heard that he had died. But at least then one his old friends told that he is alive, he just hasn?t anything to do with rock?n?roll anymore.
No not heard it!
<font size="4" face="Arial">That might be what I was remembering. But I could swear I heard it in more than just the one place. I'm probably (and hopefully) wrong though. Maybe this is what we need, get these rumors going to drag him out of the woodwork. Just don't give him a mic again. Quote:

<font size="4" face="Arial">I remember rumours going around London way back in the early 90s that he'd died of AIDS. Seems weird that he's frequently talked about in this way.Quote:

I heard he 'bought a 'hearing aid' not 'bought it from aids'
wasn't this guy in shooting gallery. Whatever happened to that band. They rocked. What else has he done?
He was only in Shooting Gallery cos I turned it down. McCoy come to see me at the Hippordome and asked me right there and then.
Well, glad to know Billy is still alive. Never a big fan of his singing, but good news nonethless. What is his new material like? Still rocking? So where has he been hiding fo rthe last 15 years or so,huh
Kill City Dragons were a brilliant band. Saw them at Rockworld, Manchester. Billy, with all his make-up was the sexiest guy I ever met, n his voice was just fantastic.
Christ on a bike - I hope he is alive and well, I knew him for a period of 12 months or so during his time in london with the Kill City Dragons. Very nice bloke, partial to the wrong sort of drugs, fantastic frontman. Heres to him being amongst the living!
<font size="4" face="Arial">"The Kill City Dragons" were a very good live band. I saw them many times during my london years. I managed to convince Billy & Dave that I should join the band, but Steve "The Hat" von-Saint was not into two guitarists (didnt like the competition) Billy had a unique voice, some liked it, some hated it, but he was always going to return to the US and as the band did not take off as quick as anticipated, he went. Dave was sound and solid but he always knew that the Dragons were not a god as The Lords, Danny was a lovely guy, but a rather poor drummer and Steve, well he moved to London because he had pissed off too many people in New York. Happy days, Good luck to em all.Quote:

Listening recently to a six track cassette demo, their songs were not a good as I remember them at the time, which is sad.
