Post your craft swap albums and such!

Okay okay okay, I had a great time making and sending my craft, I hope a certain hostboard member likes what I made.

I also got my craft item in the mail today and will post an album. I just wanted to say Thank you Aunt Cornilia!

I had mentioned in another post that I thought it would be fun if the crafter could give directions on how they made their items (if possible...obviously if you handmade a dress or crocheted something it probably wouldn't apply). I'm excited to come home everyday to check the mail! Of course, UPS is visiting on Wednesday and probably Thursday or Friday, too. :-) It's going to be a GRRRRREAT week!

Kirsten and Mini Kit are now the proud owners of new blankets and scarves! And Mini Kit also has a lovely new bench/chair! The sender didn't actually put down her username, but after searching some profiles, I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's Julie S. (Actually, that was the first username that came to mind. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] The names and city match up.) Kirsten and Mini Kit love the color, and they're so soft! And they loved the wrapping, too; it never occurred to me to wrap mine. [img]redface.gif[/img] The paper looked so rustic, though; very Kirsten, which of course pleased her (she likes to be the center of attention of course!). Thank you, Julie S!

I will share the pics of the dolls receiving their gifts hopefully this week, if not next...I kind of have to put up the last part of the Kit Adventure before I share the pictures, for reasons that may become obvious once you've seen both pages. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I sent mine out early, but since it has to go, err, a long way (don't want to say where, can't ruin the surprise!), I won't post my 'making of' album until she says she has it.

So glad you like yours Bean Bunny! Anxiously awaiting my swap item here, although I had loads of fun preparing my craft to send out, too. I really want to do this again sometime.

I received mine and it's lovely. I've been a little technology challenged lately and wanted to post up pictures of my doll wearing it. I also wanted to send a thank you card to the kind swapper. I'm at work right now (on break time) and I want to make sure I get the person's screen name correctly.

I just hope to person I sent to likes what I made.

I love them, Chris! The girls have fought over who gets to wear them the first night.
I've not put together an album before. I need to try and figure out how. I went to take digi pic's of my gift, and the battery on the camera is run down.
I'll charge it and try to take them tonight or tomorrow.

I wasn't having the best day today until the mail arrived with a big envelope just for me! I opened it to find an adorable pajama set from Bugs Mc.

Sophia has been complaining about having to wear a hot fleece nightgown. She's going to love this.

I got mine from angelnise a little while ago. It's an adorable denim skirt for Rae and a little dolly sized scrapbook. The skirt looks sooo adorable on Rae, and the scrapbook even had little pictures of my girls from my imagestation albums in it!! How many other people have NOT received their craft Swap items yet? I was sick last week, so what I made is going out in tomorrow's mail (sorry!), but I haven't received mine yet either. Just wondering who else is still waiting.

I sent mine out priority this morning. They said 2 days, but that may be Tuesday, with Monday being a holiday. I hope the recipient likes it as much as I do. It was so hard to pack it up.

Also, THANK YOU so much, Chelsea (ColonialGirl)! I absolutely adore the picnic set. The FIMO food is wonderful and looks so delicious-especially the chocolate covered strawberries. The Regency era bonnet is awesome, too. I've (well, my girls, too) been wanting one for awhile now. Marisol looks so adorable in it. And, yes, I took pictures and make an album later. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] Unfortunately, I can't have an outdoor picnic later today because it's going to storm. [img]frown.gif[/img] Maybe tomorrow.

Craft Swap Album

I just loved doing this, and the best part is finding something that I don't do myself (crochet that is).

I got my craft swap in the mail yesterday and it is amazing...Stacird..thank you so much I loved it...the outfit and accessories are adorable...I hope everyone gets to check out my craft swap album on Webshots....please let me know what you think....This outfit was made with the utmost detail, not a stitch to be seen and the tiniest buttons and seed packs...I have never seen such small seedpacks....a watering can and a basket for gathering flowers...and two flower pots....which Kirsten planted tomatoes in....thanks again you did a wonderful job

My items came yesterday- thanks AG Mommy! Everything is adorable, my dolls and I love them! I have new pictures from the craft swap that start on #22 and before that, starting on #17 are pics of Kaya with the dirt pudding I made.

You're very welcome Marymax. I'm glad that you liked i t. Your pictures make it look even better After seeing your wonderful garden, I had to make a gardening outfit. I'm glad that you liked the seed packets. I have to brag on DH. That's his calling. He is a genius at all things graphic. I'll tell him that you liked them. I have him on a new project already to match another outfit that I'm working on.

I just got mine too! BIG thank you's to "3castles" AKA Kim and her DD Kelly! They sent me the most beautiful handpainted box with fimo cookies inside, and five sticks with marshmallows just waiting to be roasted! I love them!!!! I would have never thought to use Model Magic; now I can't wait to make them with my Girl Scouts!

We're so glad that you like everything Dee! I wanted to PM you to see if the package had arrived yet but, didn't want to ruin the suprise factor!!! LOL

I am a former GS from the 70's AND a former leader and we made these in GS but, on a smaller scale as swaps! Soooooooooooooo easy for ALL the girls to make and they were a huge hit at Jamboree because everyone else always uses pony beads. We also made little flashlights out of the caps off of my husbands insulin syringes and everyone wanted these too.

If any of you GS leaders would like pics of our swaps just let me know and I'll post!!!!!
