and you can only keep one outfit, one doll, and one accessory out of all the things you have. You couldn't rebuy anything off of ebay that you had or buy anything quick from the catologe, phone, or store either. What would you keep?
I would keep Marisol, her tap outfit and the Cabana.

Why would we have to get rid of stuff just because they go out of business?
If they were going out of business I'd buy everything on my wishlist now and not go on any vacations this year!
Doll I would keep: Kirsten (she is the only doll I have)
Accessories: Ooo this one is so hard! There are too many to choose from!
Bed: Kit's or Addy's!
Table & Chairs: Samantha's or Felicity's!
You scared me with your title!!!!!

doll: Samantha or Kirsten
Outfit: Samantha's Meet dress (I only have 2 other dresses , I haven't gotten any since I was 8! I am such a baaad baaad girl...) or Kirsten's Meet dress (I have 3 other outfits for her)
Accessory: Kit's bed (I don't have the bedding yet though..)

I would keep Kailey, a hair brush, Kit's scooter outfit.

Marisol, her spotlight outfit, and the spotlight stage
I'm not following. We can only have one doll and or outfit just because a company went out of business?
BTW.....
DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!
Felicity; her old meet dress; Noah's Ark Toy
Jess, Cargo Outfit, School Lunch Set
Oh my God I almost had a heartattack when I first saw this post. I would keep Samantha and her wicker chair nd table set.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I was wondering about that too; but in response to what I think you meant...WHEW!...This is impossible! I would just have to take all my morsels, their stuff, and flee to Canada!Quote:

HA!
*blink* PLEASE don't do that again...especially with the red exclamation point! I think my heart hit my feet!
If I heard they were going out of business, I would buy even more so I got everything I had wanted that was current! But, I'll play along:
Doll: Kit
Accessory: Lydia Doll
Outfit: Felicity's Birthday Dress
Someone, I think Emily, Dreaming of Dolls, started a thread a few months ago on if AG was going out of business which would be the last doll you'd buy from them. I think that makes far more sense, lol, as it could (very unlikely, of course) actually happen.
However, since everyone else can stretch their imagination enough to answer the question, I can, too! I'd have a very hard time chosing between Samantha and Misty. However, I'd prefer to have the two dolls and no clothes or accessories. But the one clothing item I'd go with is probably Kirsten's Summer dress which was my favorite when I was little. Accessory set would be hard for me as I don't really have many to chose from....
Okay. My heart is up in my throat now!
I was thinking, "They can't be going out of business, they have a brand new store opening!"
Yeah, you got me!
Well, we'd hide it all and not give up anything!!! LOL
Lindsey, my Lowes trunk, and the dockside outfit.
IF they were going out of business, they'd put everything on sale and I'd be paying off the bills for years! That being the case, it's a darn good thing that AG is making money hand over fist for Mattel.
OTOH, I have a fantasy of winning a shopping trip to AGPNY. I would sweep up:
Every doll I don't already have, which would basically mean Elizabeth and all the AGOTs except for #14 who I just ordered.
Big items, as in furniture, the coach, the sled, etc.
Assuming I had any room/time left, clothes, clothes and clothes.
Then there's the dream I have about being let loose in the secret warehouse where all the retired items are kept... Oh, my!
Definetly Samantha, her Nature Paraphernalia Outfit & boots, and probably her trunk.
This is a really hard pick, though.

Doll: My Mary Today doll (red hair, brown eyes)
Outfit: Samantha's Spring Dress (with Samantha in it. )
Accessory: Bitty Bear (with Bitty Baby attached. lol)
There's no way I could pick 'cause I love all my girls. Guess I'd be in good company following prasnlrd to Canada!
I think I'd be with Tari and Shelia! I only have 3 precious girls and not that big of a collection, but I love them all too much to be able to pick just one!

I don't know. The post was more along the lines of what to keep.Quote:
