On his iPod that he uses when he hits the trails on his mtn bike is "(You're So Square) Baby, I Don't Care" by Joni Mitchell.
THe one with the KILLER out section where Vinnie just wails. I always wished that they extended that, it fades too early.

I hate early fade outs... worst thing ever. Infact fade outs suck in general.
How the heck do you know that anyways - what Bush listens to!?
P.S. Now he just needs to start listening to the United Nations.

The DrudgeReport has a link to the story.
Maybe Kofi Annan can rip an mp3 of one of Khaddafi's speeches as the head of the UN Security Council.

Benrand, you rock the house!!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Amen, bro. It's sooo bad when a pop tune fades out on a solo or something. Why??? They usually get top players in to do solos, and then fade out! Do normal people not want to hear good instrumental playing or do they just want to hear the singer? Darn it makes me angry! Quote:

haha yeah on i tunes u can check out the celebreties play lists so there you can find out what they listen to, probably not true.but anyways
I flat out don't believe this.
Bush doesn't have enough sense to listen to Vinnie...
MP
Well I can believe that he likes Joni, but he sure as hell won't know who is on drums, much less have the mental capacity to appreciate his talent.
Susp,
I think you over-estimate his intelligence. I doubt he can even realise who Joni is, far less have the sense to like her.
My bet is one of his dumb goons put it on for him...

Hehe, fine. I guess you're right

He should be quite comfortable with earpieces.
Bush, listen to Joni Mitchell. Blahahahahahahaaaaaa. Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, Travis Tritt, or some other right wing, psychopath, nutbag, wackjob, maybe. Joni Mitchell, no way dude.

Fitting his political agenda, THIS Band is probably more his taste.

I wonder if this is really true?? I guess it would be since it's Mark McKinnon (Bush's chief media stratagist during 2004) that downloaded the tunes to his ipod.
As for Bush's stupidity, I would love to see Hanz Blix's speech downloaded to his i-pod that he not only gave once, but twice regarding no WMD's. Maybe Bush might realize that somebody DID tell him there weren't the stockpiles his (Romper Room) "intelligence" community thought there was.
I'd love to watch/hear Vince tear Bushie boy a new A-hole. We all know what kind of verbal reparte' Vince is capable of. I would be totally comfortable with Vince as pres of the USA. Would take drumming to a whole new level huh??
I'm going to e-mail him this story.

I just e-mailed it to him..... Vince that is!!
Thought he'd get a kick out of that.
I think in a debate with Bush, Vince would just go for the juggular, un-like Kerry that was either floating around the hard core issues, or not bringing them up at all. Stupid too... because there is/was enough evidence to hang this cheerleader.
I think Bush had total foreknowledge of 9-11. I remember Condi Rice being asked by the 9-11 panel/hearings, "what exactly did that P.D.B. (Presidential daily briefing) say in August 01' that Bush recieved at his ranch??".
Condi: "er.... um.... I'm not sure..... er.... I think.... something like Bin Laden to attack the U.S. via plane or something??"
Thats when I threw up my hands and said. These people are braindead and if the country is watching this and doesn't feel as outraged as I am, then they deserve this guy.
Joesmechanic,
Of course Bush had foreknowledge of 9-11!! I heard that he is also in cahoots with Scientology, and they both plan to join ranks with the Illuminati and take over the world. It's a riddle wrapped in an enigma, inside a burrito!!!
RUN, LIBERALS!!! RUN!!! GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY, WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME!!!
Aw Jon!!! You must think I'm some sort of coward?? Didn't you know that there are the gun toting, meat eating liberals too??
Unlike some people, I would LOVE IT if they came on our soil to try and attack us. Because I'd be the 1st guy to distroy anyone that wanted a piece of the U.S.A.
But the fact remains that many people tried to tell Bush that Bin Laden was an "immediate threat", even Clinton. And what did he do?? VACATION YEAAAAA HAAAAAAA!!!!!
When I watched the 9-11 hearings and saw Condi testify to the fact of the PDB, I realized I could do a better job protecting my country than these coniggits
So there's no riddle/burito/enigma conspiracies needed. It's pretty much in anybodies face if they were paying attention.
Funny?? Pretty much the rest of the world knows these things..... exept one particular group here in the states. And they're the same group that wants to change the Constitution, put up 10 Commandments in all our courts, save Terri, and "rid" our land of what they call "activist judges"?? Maybe if they had degrees in law, they could understand what our forefathers meant when writing the Constitution??
"E pluribus unum" man. (From many, one)
ps?? Does anybody have a copy of "My pet goat" by any chance??
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well said my brother. The GOP = "the culture of lies." Now, where can I find one of those 50 caliber rifles my well meaning but misguided liberal friends are trying to ban.Quote:

When you outlaw guns, only republicans will have guns. NOT a good idea.

I'm glad you guys are musicians and not running for office.
Going on the fact that Vinnie is very religious, I would have to bet that if Vinnie voted, it probably would've been for Bush.
That's right "folks", your beloved and precious Vinnie just may have voted for the man who knew terrorists were going to attack this country to let over 3000 people die within minutes. Not only that, but he may have voted for the man who sent troops to Iraq to let 1500 Americans die for the oil we were going to steal. That's why gas is at an all time high isn't it Michael Moore? Right Al Franken?
You guys need to chill with the ratamacues, paradiddles and the Michael Moore movies.
Actually, you should learn your facts before you speak as Vinnie is known to be against the bush administration
I said he MAY have voted for him basing it on the fact he was very outspoken about his religion...I will check the facts.
S.P.
Since you are aware of his disapproval of the Bush administration, could you please point me in the direction to check my facts? Vinnie has lived in California for a long time near Hollywood and went to Berklee in Boston, very liberal places. He also played with very outspoken liberal musicians (Joni, Sting, etc.), and I know he at least used to be, not sure if he is now, a member of the musician's union. That would lead me to believe that he could possibly have been against Bush...at least publicly. But I believe Vinnie is becoming more conservative...in his playing, rumours he's moved or is moving to Nashville, and becoming outspoken regarding his religion. Sounds like he's going to be a red state bible belt right wing nazi before long!
Before the situation heats up, I recommend we lay off the politics. It was amusing before, but I'd say the matter has been discussed now.
Henry II..............
Funny how the word "liberal" became a bad word all of a sudden. This "liberal" Independant/Progressive voted for Arnold!! Go figure?? There are some people that can think out of the box and don't nescessary have to agree totally with their party lines.
I say we get the right to have concealed weapons permits here again in California like other states have. Would send a BIG message to the thieves out there.
Would be funny if I caught a guy trying to rip off my drums after a gig only to look down both barrels of my shotgun. Henry.... you can borrow my American Eagle anytime
Drum6282.....
I don't know where you're getting your info from about Vince, but he's diametrically oppposed to this Bush cheerleader and his crime family. Bush is as much a "Christian" as I am Ghandi. I don't think Stupidity and Christianity are synonamous.
I sent this thread to him and you should see what he wrote back.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I understand that Vinnie is a born again Christian. I would hope, and in fact, I fully expect, that Vinnie is also smart enough to recognize that Bush is not religious, but rather is a fraud, a liar and a hypocrite who uses religion for political gain.Quote:

I don't think we should be too concerned with Vinnie's Politcal beliefs, nor do I want this thread to turn into a heated Politcal discussion.
Henry tip toes out of room.
Psst!! Henry!!
Wait for me!!!
Run for your life John, and check your PM inbox while you're at it
Hey guys,
I apologize for making assumptions without the facts. I was heated by all the negative comments regarding the President and thought it was overlooked regarding Vinnie's beliefs and that follows a conservative stereotype. I should've phrased the post better.
I didn't mean to sound threatening or heated I was just merely stating what I thought or what I had heard were Vinnie's political beliefs. And normally I wouldn't really bother but Vinnie is my greatest Idol, my everyday inspiration, an amazing drummer and musician and above all a great person! so you can see why I might have taken your comments about to personally so for that I apologise
Dan
