there was a segment on ESPN were they had to change the ending of it because they come back and won against the yanks. I thought that was pretty cool

I have a feeling this is gonna be a really good movie. Yeah, Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore? Right. You would think they would have got Ben Afleck or Matt Damon for a role about a Red Sox fanatic. Its a good thing they didnt though. I mean, when I first heard about this movie I thought it was gonna suck. After seeing the previews though I sorta had a change of thought. Then after learning its made by the same guys that made "Theres Something About Mary", The Farrelly Brothers. I knew this would be a good movie. I hope it doesnt dissapoint. Whats crazy is that we know the Sox are gonna win the Series in it, and you still have to believe its gonna be good. I mean, they finally make a movie about a Red Sox fanantic, and they win. Plus it will probably be the perfect date movie, unlike something like Sin City. You can actually take a girl to this movie and expect them not to complain all throughout the movie. haha

I hope it doesn't bomb. Fallon was hilarious in the "boston teens skits on snl".

Just for the sake of this movie, even though I love that skit, I hope he doesnt OVERact like that haha.

I love all of those movies too. The Farrelly's rule, I think they made Shallow Hal too. Though I dont really remember much from that one, I just remember it was okay.

I just got back from watching it, it really wasnt a comedy like their others, it was more of a chick flick with a baseball theme. Good movie though I about teared up at the end, when it showed them celebrating for the world series.

Where is it playing at?

i saw it in pikeville ky, which is 45 minutes from wise co, if its not playing in coeburn i'd recommend venturin over here, unless you want to go to bristol that is.

We have it @ Coeburn Cinema too.
I watched it last night, it was cute. Not one of my favorites though. I'm not big on chick flicks and this one even though it has a baseball theme is still a major chick flick.
