Prom

I have a question:
Do boys stress about prom like girls do??

heck no...i'm just glad I don't have to go any more...

all we have to do is get dressed and fix our hair...if you have some...

only thing I ever stressed out about was if we could make it to eat on time (b/c she always ran a lil slow..haha) and what is the best looking car I could get to show her off in

I didn't stress about my proms. That's probably why I had such a good time at both.

Im jsut about to say that I dont want to go anymore...Im so stressed out!!

I didn't even bother with my senior prom.
It was getting ridiculous - seeing who spent the most on their dress (girls were starting to pay over a thousand for dresses).
All about status. I originally planned to go, but got annoyed with it all and stayed home.

it's raining hell!!....prom is crap....stay home and watch the Taker kill....forget the Prom!!!!!!!

I went to my junior prom, but got there and thought "Damm, what's all the fuss about?"

Whoa! That is insane.

No one was really like that at my school, there may have been a few, but no one really paid attention. We actually all got along pretty well. My class was actually pretty close.

I had fun in high school for the most part. My class was a bunch of cut-ups though. From cooking the lunchroom workers a lasagna lunch, to me taking up money from random people at lunch so my friend would eat a live worm, to craming an entire english class in the corner of a classroom to "surprise" our teacher when she came in late from her smoke break. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I've been to 5 proms in all, and only stressed about 1, that being because my date lived an hour away and we had a baseball game that day and an early picture appointment. But after I decided to just miss my pictures, the stress was over....

As far as stressing like girls do...heck no, me and my friends didn't even care how we looked...I drove my mamaw's 1980 something Festiva for crying out loud! To me, and I'm sure others like Moonlight would agree, prom was all about that picture w/ the baseball team.....

I went to 4. Pound my soph year, Kelly my jr year, Kelly and Lee my sr year. never got to in to it. I dont even think I shaved for my junior prom even though I was going with a hottie...lol.

none at all, it was jus about hanging out with the baseball team. I remember us havin bets to see which one of us would be the first one to make our date cry/want to go home/or cuss us out.

I dunno if it is futile to put up with it, but I never really had any intrest in it, but I'd say if I had a girlfriend or something I would look at it differently, depends on who you are and how much money you wanna spend, and in my eyes.. 500 dollars for one night, HAHA! go by yourself! thats what I would get at.

I went by myself my junior year. This girl I had been dating broke up with me 2 days before the prom. So, I just suited up and had fun out with friends on my own.

I had just about as much fun that night as the other 3 I attended.

Been to 3 and its a waste of money and a waste of time.

Well its all over and done with now, I dont know why I was stressing so bad=)

i was wrong it was A LOT colder than i thought it would be, but i had a good time.

I always had a good time at prom. It's all what you make it. If you go expecting it be stupid, and you don't dance and enjoy it...It will be lame.

clintwood had there saturday night at Hotel Norton i did not think that i would have fun but i was wrong i did not want to leave [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I had a pretty good time.

i have been to 2 proms in the past 2 years. both of them as a chaparone. guys handle them pretty well, girls need to realize that in 5 years, nobody cares what you wore.
