Makes you think

There was a 16 year old boy from the BSG, who was in a fatal car accident last night. His name was Daniel and that is honestly all I know about him. I've heard the details but I dont know how much truth is in them. I didn't even know this boy but when the girls in my Cosmotology class told me what happend I felt like I wanted to cry, It really makes you think! Your time here is limited and you dont know when its your time to go, So cherish the time you have and never leave anything un said.

Sad story I didn't know him but it really made me think when I heard the news this morning. Very sad and I dont know really what happened.

I was working at the hospital lastnight when he was brought in, didnt really get to find out much information though bc he was brought in as I was getting off.

well i must say, i did go to school with em, i worked @ FC with em, and he was a damn good kid.. also, i am on the BSG F.D. ... i know a few details that not many people just the guys on the F.D. and his family, and those id rather not share, sorry but they keep that between us firefighting 'brothers' he WAS NOT D.O.A. like i said im not gonna go into any details (and i hope you guys understand that) .. but i am gonna say that he was forwarned about driving slow.. i will tell yall this i work with a boy, his names damian... i also go to school with em, after prom saturday they were headed to the bowling alley (daniel, his g/f, damian and his date) and damian said they were doing 120 to/from norton (bowlin alley)... and he said "Daniel this car is gonna be the end of you life if you dont slow down" and then now this happens, it really hurts him, yall just dont understand growin up with the kid for 12/13 years, and then BAM he's gone, i kept waitin' and waitin' to see him pull into school today hoping i was just dreaming last night hearin' my pager go off, but it was true, it never really hit me till halfway through the day, but if you guys have any questions feel free to ask, and ill answer them..(or try to)

i talked to Daniel one time, and thats all it takes..
cause as soon as I heard the news, it hit me like a ton of bricks..and thats just from talkin to the guy one time..

so Icant even begin to imagine how his family and friends feel.. but i wish y'all the best of luck to heal from this..

I heard that he was racing someone. Do you know if thats true?

a friend told me that the police said they thought he was gettin chased by someone and he was tryin to get away!!.
the girl he is datin has a crazy Ex boyfriend, and 2 weeks ago he cut Daniels break line and made Daniel wreck
so people think he was bein chased

you guys, on prom night I was damians date. Daniel was one of my greater friends and my best friend was dating him, I dont want to go into details just PM me But he is missed and I loved that boy. He was A brother, a worker a student a nephew and an uncle and most of all My good friend. Shew, It just seems like We was all in the car on prom night and yes 120 is alot, I was scared but now hes gone, what could I have done. shew, just please pray for us.

I work with one of the first people on the scene, she and her husband found the wreck......she was not doing well just after that. His aunt works with us too, the family are in our prayers.

me friend from shop told me that he was being chased by someone who had something to do with his g/f..that is very hard to believe...i would know how it feels tho...its hard

I am kind of speechless about it. I have heard dozens of rumours about it and I'm sure each is as unlikely as the other. Anyway, his family is in my prayers.

yeah i have heard about it from a pretty reliable source but it is very sad...persoanlly how many people on here wear their seatbelt when they drive? i know i don't but this is going to make me now

Folks always remember. Life is just a vapor, your here for awhile and gone.
Don't take any day for granted. And don't take a friend for granted.
Tragedies like these make you reflect.
It's a terrible thing. May God bless the family and friends.
But learn young people from this tragedy.
Don't take a moment for you to be gone. Or your best friend perhaps.

Daniel was on of my friends. I had gone riding with him before and yeah he loved to speed but that is just the way he was.

The viewings will be Friday from 6 to 8 at Holding Funerel Home and the Funeral will be Sat 1 at Holdings.

BIG STONE GAP, Va. - Daniel Keith Mack 16, passed away Wednesday (May 4, 2005) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at Norton Community Hospital.

Daniel was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the Christian Life Center, Big Stone Gap. He was also a member of East Coast Kustomz.

Daniel had a love for art, automobiles and welding.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Lousie Mack and Nina Kilgore; and grandfather, Earl Kilgore.

He is survived by his mother, Angelia Mack, Big Stone Gap; father, Tim Mack and wife Donna, Big Stone Gap; brother, Letcher Lee Jackson, Big Stone Gap; step-brother, Joshua Begley, Dryden, Nathan Begley and Big Stone Gap; grandfather, Mandel Mack; step-grandparents, Jim and Sherry Dalton; his girlfriend, Kelly Cupp, East Stone Gap; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Gilliam Funeral Home, Big Stone Gap.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Mike Dalton and Rev. Dwayne Williams.

Burial will follow at Clarkston/Kilgore Family Cemetery, Seminary.

Friends and family will serve at pallbearers.

i heard the guy that cut his brake lines was in jail said that they had proof he did it.

im so sick of rumors yall & kellie is reading this No brake lines were cut.. they DO NOT know what exactly happened there could be a million things that happened.

I just got back from the funeral home they let Kellie and I go in alone for awhile just to see him, I mean shew I just sit there and thought he was gonna wake up and see me and talk to me just like he used to but hes not. Please keep me in your prayers and his family -- I just miss my good friend and I just had so many memories--

I hate to read that about that poor young man. My boys' mother used to work at Food City with him and he's just 3 years older than my oldest boy. That really makes you think.

Losing a classmate and friend while you are young hurts, it's a pain I don't think will ever go away. When I was a senior in 92' one of our classmates commited suicide with a gun. At graduation it was so hard not to see him walking up to get his diploma with everyone else. Then right after graduation another one of our classmates commited suicide also, to this day I still think about them and miss them. The pain is still there. We always think that when we get older is when death will come, but that isn't always the case. My prayers are with everyone that knows this young man and his parents. It's hard for a broken heart to heal but in time it's a little better. So just think of the good memories you had together.

when i heard this it really botherd me alot. knowing that a mother and father has lost a child to something that was needless to say did not need to happen.
to all that knew him and to his family my prayers are with u all.

it's really scary that this can happen....you always think that it can't happen to you until it hits in your own town.....

Back in January a kid in the 11th grade overdosed. That had to been one of the saddest days ever at that school while i was there.
