Sun, I try to look over it but it just erks me to no end. I'm like LPDBlueDevils...I try not to read their posts, but when they get intermingled with the sports posts it's hard. It's easy to avoid the Cheerleading, Can You Read My Icon, Does My But Look Big In These Britches posts, but when it gets thrown in with something worthwhile, it just sends me for a loop.

Oh yes. Good old chubz, the guy who can throw a spiral 40-50 yds. I've tried arguing with him a few times, I've even typed out a responce only to just say "why" half way through and just stopping.

p.s. this has got to be one of the crappiest days for college football so far. Other than the Minnesota/Purdue game(which i didnt watch), there hasnt been a good game all day. Ahhh, at least kyle wright didnt get sacked today, thats a plus.

No doubt. The Tech (s) game turned into a laugher. The UT/LSU game would have at least been something to watch tonight. I did see that USC and Louisville were both losing early in the first. USC by 3 and Louisville by 7. The Bama/Arky game was a little interesting at first, until I fell asleep anyway.

USC is down 10-0 now. Louisville is still down 7-0 at the end of the first to Southern Florida.

All I gotta say is, Oregon better keep scoring, I dont think 10 points could hold the lead for them till halftime. I wish I had the games, I had to move the dish because trees kept growing but I havent had time to get on the roof to put it back up yet.

Tech did look good today. I think tech is a much better team at home though. I could see them stinking it up on the road and losing a game. Time will tell, but Im pretty sure they will beat the canes.

Btw, was going to tell you, Lesean McCoy broke his ankle last night, high school career over. Do you know if he still likes UT a lot. I know he likes Penn State, UT, Miami, Oklahoma, and a few other schools. But UT was looking good.

Tech has that bad tendency to lose to someone they're not supposed to. i.e. Temple. Plus, they'll have to deal with the ACC championship game which is just another obstacle. Ask UT, Nebraska, et al.

As far as McCoy, he hasn't set up a visit yet but lists Southern Cal, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Miami, Alabama and Penn State as his top 7. In that order.

Yeah I agree with that, but I think Florida State is horrible. They are undefeated but how long can they play like the 01 Ravens is the question. It may work against some teams, but I think Clemson and NC State will score some points on em.

Tech is lookin like they are in the drivers seat right now, I hate to say it.

They could quite possibly end up like Auburn last year as well. Tech still has lots of pitfalls ahead though. UVA, UM, BC, even NC amd WVU, maybe FSU. It all depends on how well they take care of business.

Are they the blue and white team. Only been around for a few years? If so, he does look like he's building something down there. I saw one of their games on ESPN 2 earlier in the year against OSU. They lost by about 10 points.

That is one thing i am glad of. This part of the forum. On the other forum you can't have a decent conversation at times.
And then you get those who do all the sports talk and you have to wonder, did they ever play the game at all? Some of what they say doesn't even make sense.
And i don't know maybe it's just me and im older. But just like Bud Foster. If your gonna talk sports at least know the names of the people your trying to have a discussion about.
One reason i like VTgal and smarty they know their sports. They can actually have a conversation right there with the others.
Some i don't know and it's guys to. They start ramblin and it's like wtf are you talking about. This at least gives us a chance to well have some decent conversations without all the crazy remarks thrown in.

I could not agree more. If Smarty or Vtgal say they think a team is gonna win they give a reason. Those other girls jus get on here and say PHS is gonna kick butt cause we rock! I just find it very annoying. Plus like it was stated before we can actually have decent conversations on here without someone getting on here pretending to be a professional wrestler or in some band.
