I read bout this on another forum, its a really sad story.
The boy that hit her used to go to Clintwood, then moved.
Omg..that is really sad!~
i read about that in the newspaper yesterday...she was really pretty..and it was a sad story.
this is exactly why everyone needs to learn that speed limits should be followed.
bump this back up because everyone who think's it is so cool to go as fast as you can needs to see the reality of what happens when you act like you own the road and the law doesn't apply to you.
Don't mean to be rude here, but are you tellling me that you obey all speed limit laws no matter where you are at? So you have never drove above the speed limit before?
now I drive very close within 5 mph. in my youth i was dumb and drove as fast as i could, which I was very lucky that I didn't kill someone or myself. Speaking from experience a lot of people need to slow down.
oh i agree...didnt they indict him on murder charges last night
I don't obey the speed limit all the time, but I don't do over 100 mph on Roan St. either.
This young man was drag-racing, it wasn't just someone not following the speed limit.

Yeah, it was in the Kingsport paper today
Gosh..that is really sad -
The gent would have been much better off at the "Run what ya brung, Street Fight" at the track. I've done some carzy things in my day and been luck enough that I didn't hurt anyone, so, ya know I try to tell the ones that will listen. Some do, some don't. I lost a LOT of money on some lessons, but ...... I'm still pretty much in one piece. Guy I was in drivers ed with hit a pregnant girl head-on at the Patio less than a year after graduation, girl and the baby both died. Those days they sorta shook their head and took your D/L. not the time and fines like now. He didn't just walk off , but it is a whole different world, now. He was blasted and just misjudged his lane, simple mistake, very costly result.
