Tom DeLay
guilty or not?
sounds like the guy has had some moral charges brought against him on more than a couple occasions...the trial should be interesting though
maybe he could morph into one of his many professions and give his "expert opinion" on what is going on
paging Dr. DeLay

Re: Tom DeLay
I say if it's a polititian be it a democrat or republican...They are always guilty of something it seems...May be 1 out of a 100 that is a decent respectable person who cares for the individuals who vote for them...Who know if he is but I bet being a polititan if he is he will weasel his way out of it somehow.

"maybe he could morph into one of his many professions and give his "expert opinion" on what is going on"
Kind of like you?

Re: Tom DeLay
way to answer the question
someone wanna give this man a cookie??
-
Re: Tom DeLay
Well I will add that the prosecuter who has brought the charges against him is one of the most liberal attorneys in the United States. Im also a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty....
-
Re: Tom DeLay
where were you at during the Michael Jackson Trial then??
-
Re: Tom DeLay
Well it was in California...the most liberal state in America. I thought the boy and his mother were liars from what I saw of the case. I do think Michael has done other things, but I dont know about the latest one though. You just dont have your home built like an amusement park and have young boys in your bed without something going on.
-
Re: Tom DeLay
i've been informed that this "most liberal prosecutor in america" has a history of going after crooked politicians...and of those he has brought cases against...
Democrats - 12
Republicans - 5

Re: Tom DeLay
GCdevil22 There's a differance between Micheal Jackson and politics and Tom Delay. This is just another attempt to add to the smear campaign by the liberals and the left wing. What about the Fed judge and the Leader of the ACLU doing what they did yesterday they had made it where that the DOD had to release all the Pic's from Abu Rabi prison and release them to the public and the only reason they wasn't in the first place was because they feared that the pictures would cause the more Arabs to join the fight with the terriost and cause more Deaths off our military over in Iraq! Re: Tom DeLay
whats the difference between michael jackson and tom delay in terms of "innocent until proven guilty"?? that term kinda applies to all cases
as far as the "smear campaign" Tom DeLay admitted himself that he's been brought up on "moral charges" more than 2-3 times since 1993...some of those were brought up by conservatives too
it's a good thing the republican party never tries to smear any other candidates though

Re: Tom DeLay
True I thought you was meaning some thing else that was the differance between them sorry!
-
Re: Tom DeLay
nah he had just stated that he was about "innocent until proven guilty" and i had been jumped on b/c i called for the same thing in the jackson trial
no biggie

Okay cool!

Re: Tom DeLay
When something happens to a Republican, they just start shouting, "LIBERAL, LIBERAL." I heard a Jerry Kilgore add the other day saying that if Tim Kaine is elected governor, he will raise gas prices. Why? Because he is a liberal. I hope they take it to Tom Delay, and Bill Frist, and Karl Rove. NO man is above the law

Re: Tom DeLay
I think the rule is
If a democrat in trouble, or does something, its the republicans doing the moral duty for whats right.
If its a republican in trouble, its a liberal judge or such after them

Re: Tom DeLay
yea, i learned about that in government class about political parties, its called the watchdog something... its where the opposite party can criticize whatever the party does wrong. for instance if G.W. does somethin wrong, then the democrats can criticize it however they choose.

Re: Tom DeLay
I am a beleiver in innocent until proven guilty. Otherwise what is the point in haveing a court system. I have 2 siblings whom are attorneys so Im kind of forced to beleive in that motto. I dont remember jumping on you for saying that about the Jackson case, if I did I was not acting like myself. DeLay might be guilty who knows? We will know in a year or so I guess.

Re: Tom DeLay
What even got me started on this was your little saying:
"maybe he could morph into one of his many professions and give his "expert opinion" on what is going on"
That just sounds like someone on this board...I dont know who it could be???
-
Re: Tom DeLay
no it wasn't you who did it...please give an example where i acted like a doctor and told people it was my expert opinion that such and such is the case

Re: Tom DeLay

Re: Tom DeLay
He is guilty. He needs to confess and save taxpayers thousands of dollars.

Re: Tom DeLay
Texas crude stinks, but it burns well , in this world as well as others. I like to poke a lil fun with my friends, but this won't really change things- either way.
