Lord of War- 9/10 w/o a doubt one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Really draws on some of the hypocrisies in America especially the ideal of corruption in our own government.
Roll Bounce- 6.5/10 cute movie. some really good one liners. Definitely better than I expected.
I'm going the other way on Lord of War . There were a couple of decent parts but too often I became bored during this movie . A disappointment .
Dissapointment here too to much talking not enough action!
I can definitely see that but still I think overal just the points made by the movie about how the US is only out to protect our own interests and we'll do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal even if it means letting people literally kill off others is very true.

What did you think of The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Smarty? I noticed it's on a Coeburn.
Saw Serenity . Decent movie , moved pretty quickly with only a couple of lulls . Luckily I was able to see the all day Sci-Fi "Firefly" marathon this week which brought me up to speed about the whole background for the movie . Even without the Firefly stuff , the movie could stand alone without getting anyone completly lost. I love the humor written into this movie .
If anyone sees A History Of Violence, please give a review.
me and Blue are gonna try to check it out Sunday so I'll be sure to give it a review.. it has been doing quite well @ Coeburn though, pulling in some big numbers..
"Into the Blue" on the other hand is doing horrible only like 8 ppl total for all 3 showings tonight.
Do you know if you guys are going to get A History Of Violence, or does Wise have it?
we have no idea ahead of time what we're getting.. won't know anything until Thursday for sure.
That's what I figured.
I can definitely ask about it though.. our district manager and owner pick the movies we don't really have any say, but sometimes we do hear rumors about movies we're getting and IMO I don't think "Into the Blue" will be with us much longer.
Has anyone seen the movie BE COOL it' has alot of stars in it but the one that gets me is that the "Rock" plays a gay Gangsta!
That movie was such a letdown after Get Shorty. The Rock did well though.
I thought it was one of the best movies I had seen in a while (IMO)
I thought it stunk, but the Rock and Vince Vaughn were great. In case you don't know, that was a sequel to the movie Get Shorty. Get Shorty is much better.
I thought Be Cool was a bore honestly, huge letdown considering some of the stars that were in it.

Flightplan-5/10 pretty decent movie, fairly predictable ending though, better than Red Eye I'll say that much.
Greatest Game Ever Played- 8/10 loved this movie. great storyline.. good acting, very heart-warming so to speak.
Be Cool was ok, didnt have the bite that Get Shorty had. Should have been better.
When does wedding crashers come out on dvd anyone gotta clue??

Emily Rose- not horrible not something I'd pay to see either though. 6/10
wow smarty i figured you would make your man take you to see elizabethtown.
that really was a good movie, it was pretty long, but everyone in it did such a good job. Kirston did such a good job with the whole southern accent, she didnt try to over do it a la Jessica Simpson in Dukes of Hazzard. Orlando did a great job playin a character similar to that of Zach Braffs in Garden State.
Ironically Zack wants to see Elizabethtown and I'm leaning more towards the Fog so I guess on my next day off we're gonna try to see both.
the fog is pretty refreshing a good story, not like a outstanding movie, but very history oriented and steeped in folklore. It was worth the price I think.

Was the Fog a remake of the older movie by the same name?? If so, then i definitley want to see it. Granted I was like 11 when i saw the first one, but it scared the poop outta me...
I thought Selma Blair was the hottest of the two in "The Fog" . I just like dark haired women .
It is a remake of John Carpenter's "The Fog" from about 25 or so yrs.ago (God , I'm getting old). Adrienne Barbeau had my teen hormones working overtime in the 70's . Jamie Lee Curtis was also in the original . I guess Carpenter liked her from his little horror flick "Halloween".
IN HER SHOES- me and the guys at work got bored the other day and decided to watch some of this one...and the next day we had to go back and watch it from the beginning b/c he were all pleasantly surprised at what a good captivating movie this was. It was HONESTLY a pretty good movie. Sorta a chick flick but you see a lot of Cameron half naked so guys will like it too. =) 7/10
ELIZABETHTOWN- honestly I don't doubt that it got better as it went on but I was soo bored just waiting to get to the storyline that me and Blue left. Maybe we missed out but not one of my favorites...didn't watch all of it so can't score it.

Yeah, The Fog was an old HBO classic. Adrienne Barbeau was in her prime in that flick. Had a poster of her when I was young...oh, the good old days!
