War on Terrorism deaths

Since the media is more interested lately in commenting on the 2000 death milestone ( and I agree each life is precious ) than the fact that Iraq ratified its constitution . This I hope puts us a step closer to the end result . Here are some death comparisions from previous wars .

US deaths in Iraq has averaged 65 a month .

US deaths in WWII averaged 9051 per month over the course of the war ( 407,316 )

US deaths in Korea averaged 998 per month ( 36,916 )

US deaths in Vietnam averaged about 480 per month ( 57,702 in 10 yrs )
In 1968 alone 14,314 soldiers died for an average of 1193 per month .

Stats are stats and can be manipulated , but by comparison , it is not what the mainstream press portrays . Once again let me say each and every life lost is sorrowful .

Each person is still just as dead as if they had been at Pearl Harbor or the Iron Triangle. The point is, we still don't have any idea of what our plan to leave is. The job was finished when the country was searched for WMDs, if not then surely when Saddam was caught. The USA still has no idea of when we are going to quit spending lives and cash on this hole, nuke it!

Sun...I'd just as soon get rid of all of those groups you just mentioned. They're all too biased and too extreme yet narrow in their views to have a valid say-so in what goes on in this country. Left doesn't mean gay. Right doesn't mean religious nut. Terminology is twisted these days... you'll never find someone that will find the middle ground and do what's right and stand by it. No matter what any of you think, Bush hasn't done it, Gore or Kerry couldn't have done it, because they've all got a piece of their souls sold to different subsidiaries of the Devil known as lobbyists. what I don't understand is this is the first War period going all the way back to the Revolution that we have had a Military deaths Milestone! Sounds like abunch of Bs to me we all need to be focused on the one's that are still over there!While also remebering the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice!
