How can you justify that Tennessee doesn't deserve to go to a bowl game if they go 6-5? If Alabama had gone 6-5 this season would they deserve to go to a bowl game?
no...because there will be teams with better records than Tenn being left out, but yet due to their fan base they will get the nod!
I think all it takes is 6 wins to be bowl elgibile and then you must get invited......I think

But my time will be spent watching two good teams play in the iron bowl(the biggest rivalry in college football)!
Those are big words for a team that has failed to beat the Vols 8 out of the last ten years, and had the game gift-wrapped with a fumble that went out of the endzone. Tennessee has had a horrible year. I guess now we know how Bama has felt for the last six years.

You can rest assure that if Tennessee is bowl eligible they will go due to fan support...But that may be down due to this year...It's all about the cash.

Your team is not on top of the world, not even in the top half, so just pay your dues and come back when you have an argument, i payed my dues through the probation years but everyone had to know Bama wouldn't stay down. So don't come out and start the Tenn beat bama X amount of games in a row... Bama winning streak against Tenn has been up to 12 before... and if you want to talk about history well there is no comparison

When Bama can finish 8-3 or better for five consecutive years and possibly win an SEC divisional title, I will agree with you that the "Bammers" are back. Until then we shall see!

In 2002, Bama won the West, but couldn't play in the title because of... probation.
Well bama has had a some okay years but they haven't been blown up until this year. and Tennessee is always in the news even though they don't have the best record. But this year bama would dominate over UT hands down. But Miami is still the best..
I can type all night about Bama/Tenn rivalry, but one thing for sure is that neither side will agree. As a TN. alumni and fan, I never have liked Bama and the Bama fans I know feel the same way about TN.
