Guess we'll have to get the JJK-Castlewood score on the news.
Wise lost castlewood
and pound lost to grundy
Scores?
Coeburn 52
clintwood 41.....i think thats right
That's about right Jimmy
Wise lost by around 20..... Same goes for Pound, and JIB won by around 15....
Congrats on the all-tourney selection Jimbo!
You still haven't told me how many fingers I'm holding up.
haha thanks...i havent figured it out yet. When i looked i thought it was just the middle one but i'm not sure.
Way to go Jimmy. Good job.
i have figured it out. ROBBIE PERRY SUCKS. He done a HORRIBLE job reffing. with that said could anyone explain the T coach Mcamis got? i didnt see him do nothing that should have got him T'ed up. i sat behind the bench btw.
well, i guess now in the LPD you can drop the "F" bomb right in front of a ref and not get a T, seen it tonite, right in front of me, as the feller was getting up off the ground, right beside the ref, gets up and shouts the "f" bomb, but then a minute or two later McAmis gets a T for shouting something at the ref i believe, couldnt hear what was said, but the ref took no time in T'ing him up.
not trying to be too critical of the refs, but in the final game it seemed for a while that the only time Wise may have gotten a foul called was if there was some sodomy goin on out there, some bad officiating tonite, im sure anyone that was there can agree with me on that point
btw, im not quite sure who missed that half court shot more, LPD BLue or Burrhead!!
and congrats to all the players who got selected to the all tourney team, forgot to mention Jimmy, i hollered for ya when ya got that plaque!
haha yeah wave10s said that was you but i wasnt for sure.
It's a wonder if burrhead even got the ball to leave his hands. "Countrys' " kid got closer than burrhead did. haha
who all made the tournament team??
haha..they both hit air didnt they?..
Ever notice how many LPD games he does anymore?
none. that crew was a crew. in every sense of it.
yeah mang, that was me, i may give ya some hell on the court, but its all in good fun..haha
amazed me to see how many of the little kids came closer to sinking the shot than some of the grownups..
and LBballa, i guess you could say that, they were wayyyyyy off
the ones i remember for the all tourney team were:
Sloan from clintwood
adkins from coeburn
Filip from wise
drew justice from castlewood
those are about all i can remember
Lorenzo for Burton
Evan Bolling I think it is? from Wise..
don't rem. the Grundy kids
yeah evan is from Wise.
anyone from Pound get it?
Adam Keith got it from Pound
McAmis is without a doubt the most intense coach I've ever seen, but I didn't see or hear anything from him that would warrant the technical foul.

Reading the paper and it said that Castlewood had two more fouls than Wise, so I guess that you Indian idiots don't know what you are talking about. Also, I can see why Scott Co. Schools have three of the four best rankins in SOL scores. Some of the grammer and punctuation on here "SUCKS" as you say.
Eye gotta agre with u man. Sum of thee speling on hear jus keels mee to

Council boys claim Coal Classic title

APPALACHIA ? The Council Cobras clinched the Coal Classic Tournament at Appalachia with a 53-47 win over Appalachia Friday night.
Both teams went 2-1 in the tournament, but Council turned a very close game into an easy win with less than two minutes left in the game.
Caleb Epling broke a 44-44 tie with a basket, followed by a layup from Jan Jindra and two successful free throws from Matt Murphy to put the Cobras in an enviable position.
"The first two nights we had no intensity," Council coach Neil Rasnake said. "But we came out tonight with it."
D.J. Barton led scoring with 21 points, while Wade Jackson scored 13.
"Applachia is a strong ballclub," Rasnake said. "They killed us on the offensive glass. I'm pleased with the win."
The Bulldogs were led by Adam Kiser's 15 points. Brian Baber was the only other Bulldog to score double digits.
Council's Barton, Justin Fuller and Caleb Epling were named to the all-tournament team, along with Appalachia's Kiser, Baber and Josh Scott.

Where was St. Paul? Why were they not in the finals?
I heard next year that Kingsport Homeschool is coming as well to join Mountain Empire Baptist and Cedar View Christian. Is Gate City Christian and Wise County Christian coming as well? What a sad sight that tourney has become.
I was told they pretty much had no choice but these teams this year due to a quick throw together of the tourny. They did get some sponsorship I heard, and since they announced it too late for most teams since their schedule had already been filled for this season.
Hopefully it will be back in full force next season. Maybe bring in a couple of decent Kentucky teams too bring some freshness to the tourny.
