The Philadelphia game was tough! I knew the Eagles would come out fighting, but the game was 20-17 Philly in the 4th quarter. If the Redskins can say nothing else, they are battle tested.
The 36-35 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 10 means nothing. Washington can play with and beat the Bucs. I believe Washington is better off traveling to Tampa in the 6 seed than hosting Carolina in the 4 seed. The Panthers could run the table on the road...If the team that played Atlanta yesterday is the one who shows up. I believe Carolina beats the Giants by 10-14 points. As for the 'Skins, let's see how the injury report comes out...

Very good possiability IMO. I dont see anyone at this point though stopping the Colts. With the inspiration they have, if they dont do it this season, they arent going to do it. That Panthers teams is very dangerous however. Carolina is the most talented team in the NFC by far.
Carolina is highly overrated, they dont run the ball well enough and they are a one reciever team. It would be almost impossible for them to win 3 road games in a row as well.
The teams going to the superbowl will at least have 1 home game, I have no doubt about it. Look at the past, 55 of the last 60 superbowl teams had at least a first round bye.
DeShaun Foster is the most underated running back in the league. They smacked Atlanta in the mouth yesterday running the ball. Atlanta has a decent defense to. I dont know what Carolina team you have been watching all season, but other than Seatle and Chicago, there has not been a better NFC team.
I think Carolina has a very good shot at making it. Although I'll be rooting for the Bears in the NFC and the Broncos from the AFC.
If they are the 3rd best team then why did the bucs win the south and they are playing the giants on the road???
The panthers are averaging about 3.7 yards per carry this season. If you watched the game against the bears, youd see my point. No way they will run on either chicago or tampa. When you take away their run, they only have Steve Smith to rely on. The chicago game was a big eye opener for the panthers, their O is not very good and Delhomme makes some awful decisions.
If the Panthers play like they did yesturday they will be hard to stop, Foster will continue to get better. I don't see the Seahawks making it to the Super Bowl, I say it will either be Da Bears or Carolina.
I bet the giants beat them next week. Just my opinion but the Panthers are more Jeckyl and Hyde than any team in the nfc. Winning on the road in the playoffs is hard, let alone THREE times in a row. I dont think its ever been done.
And who has run the ball on Chicago?? Nobody other than Pittsburgh that I have seen. Im not saying that Carolina is the for sure pick to go all the way, all I am saying is that they are clicking on all cylinders and at the perfect time. If I were the Giants, I would not want to see them at home or not. Im sure that there are 31 other teams in the NFL that would love to have Steve Smith to rely on. He has been the best wide receiver in the league all season.
I agree winning on the road is hard, I think Eli will choke in his first playoff appearance, and I don't think Tiki can run all over them like he did this past week against the Raiders. But I could be wrong! I tell you what though man, I like the Bears, I think their defense is strong enough to get them to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks may very well make it, but I just don't have any faith in Hasselback and his recievers.
I'm pretty sure they had the same record and the panthers beat em worse than the bucs beat them. Im not sure could someone clarify how the bucs had the adv. over the panthers in the rankings?

The NFC Playoff Picture is wide open. I truly believe any 1 of the 6 teams could be in the Super Bowl in about a month. The Seahawks and Bears are obviously the favorites, but Tampa Bay, New York, Carolina, and Washington are all tough teams. The Redskins have beaten both Chicago and Seattle this year. That tells me just how open things really are.
I realize Carolina didnt run the ball well against chicago, but to make it to the superbowl, they are going to most likely have to play Tampa or Chicago. Steve Smith is an awesome player, I cant say anything bad about him, but Delhomme doesnt like to throw to anybody but him, thats all Im saying. Losing Muhammad was a big blow to their redzone attack and he was a big reciever that was actually the go to guy before Smith. Keep in mind too, Foster is prone to get injured. Its going to be awful cold the next couple of weeks and those hits are going to be painful.
