I wonder why Hawaii can't get more recruits. I know it isn't on a big national stage but would you have any problem going to college in Hawaii. BYU gets a lot of recruits from Hawaii. Utah seems like a sucky place to go to college compared to Hawaii but I do know a lot of the Hawaians (sp?) have roots to the Church of Latter-Day Saints.
well paradise doesnt always equal wins. But then again Hawaii has produced the NCAA's Leading passer. BUt the Church connection is the reason why BYU gets recruits from hawaii
Well if I was a football player, i probabally wouldnt want to go play, and practice in 100 degree weather.

Not being smart, but, then there shouldn't be any in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. Actually Hawaii's highest temperature ever recorded is 100 degrees..lol, wouldn't that mean those states are much worse? So, there goes that I guess LOL.
The main reason nobody from the mainland wants to play for hawaii is because they are 3 more time zones away from california even, 6 from the east coast. Who wants to stay up until 3-4 am watching their kid play ball. Its just too far away and too big of an inconvience. I cant imagine how much hawaii spends on travel for all the sports they are involved in.
They have had a few good players, Chang is garbage, never was any good, but the same cant be said about Ashlee Lailee, he's a player.
one of the main problems hawaii has is that a player cannot go on an official visit for any sport if they are from the continental 48 unless they have already committed to play there...
I did not know that UKwideout but I mean they play most games on the mainland. I have another question, do any Alaska teams have football? If so what division and conference do they play in?
What is to keep them from committing, going on the official visit and then de-committing.
