I will have to agree with gc 1 for once haha.. Hackney is a great player... If he stays healthy he is by far the best player in the lpd.. the adkins kid is good 2 but not as good as hackney

i agree there may be all around athletes, but andrew is a true basketball player. i like to watch a player that understands the game

I'd agree if he actually played defense, but he sags off of usually the wrse player of the other team and as soon as the ball is shot he takes off looking for a pass down court from the rebounder

One of the better players in the distrcit is Dustin Fleming but his team won't win enough games for him to get it..
One of the best all around players is Josh Kilgore.Plays excellent defense and is very unselfish.Hackney can score inside and has good range on his jump shot. The Adkins kid reminds me of Goodman from Twin Valley and will set some records at Coeburn.Miles is definetly an offensive whiz but questionable defense.

Adkins is going to be a great basketball player. He is as fundamentally sound as any player I have seen.
zo is an excellent athlete but to me he isn;t a awesome basketball player...he can play but his form is wack...BUt still a top canditdate for player of the year because of quickness..

not sure if creating bad shots is as good as simply making the shots you are presented
Compare points scored.. Creating opens alot of things, open shots for other players, drawing the foul and going to the line.
zo is the best athlete in the district...not the best bball player...top 5 probably, but not the best
kilgore, hackney, adkins, the kid from kelly and then probably zo...the last two could probably change, but the point is still the same
The ability to create shots for yourself/teammates seperates good players from great ones.

The question is def. opinionated, but Zo is one of the top three basketball players in the district, no ifs ands or buts.
no doubt but what im saying is what you do with the ball after you create space is more important...which is what he is lacking...plays out of control at times, his shot is broke, defense definitely not a strong suit...when you break it down, you look at what he can do and what he can't do and you say

he's quick...and...he's....well quick
The only one even close to Zo is Hackney. Stats dont lie, who cares if his shot is ugly, it goes in!!! and so what if he doesnt play traditional basketball. No kid from Wise can even touch Zo, simple as that.
He;s quick, hes a good passer, great court vision, can create like no other with the ball.
How can his shot be a negative?
