I waited around for a few minutes but I didnt hear of any after-talk.
I believe there may have been some words exchanged between pv's players and coeburns fans at the Huddle House.....i was up there and some woman that worked there stood up on the table and told everyone that if they didnt calm down they would have to leave.....the police showed up a couple mins later......

the women said that they went through that every weekend up there
i feel sorry for the HH employees......i couldnt imagine how difficult it must be to keep cool while dealing with a bunch of hot head kids.....
Yeah, I agree.. I feel sorry for them as well.
Taking sports seriously is one thing, but there's a line you have to draw somewhere, and taking your troubles into restaurants, in front of people who are trying to do their job, is crossing that line - no doubt about it.
thank goodness there isn't someone out on the court who is just trying to do their job and have to deal with snot-nosed high school kids

I watched a certain team this year play. They made some of the most questionable sportsmanship decisions I have ever seen. I personally watched them throw punches (upper cuts to be exact) and trip players.
well i am from coeburn and we went in their to eat after the game. their was like 7 of us and a PV entire teenage population walks in and just started being redneck. of course they would proab. say the same about us but I honestly dont think any of us said anything to them. then they started about the crazies. I am thinkin " u lost cant u just shut up" to beat it all the cheerleaders and the girls where worse then the guys
That's why I tried to tell you fellas not to go up there. Sometimes if you know that there's gonna be people that you don't wanna be around or that you're pretty sure are gonna cause trouble in a certain place--it's best not to go there, but to avoid them altogether. Lots of times with some of the more hardcore and youthful PV fans, it's best to ignore them and go on about your business. I expect you guys said nothing out of line to these people when they started in on you. Why do you think I didn't wanna go to Huddle House after the JJK game?

The waiters attitudes only made things worse IMO. I know there was a lot of people there being jerks and they shouldn't have to put up with them. But even the people that didn't cause any trouble they were being smart to.
I hate seeing stuff like that

maybe it wasn't the same waiter..cause the lady that freaked out and threatened to call the cops was CRAZY, but the other woman said that she's always actin like that and she needs to get fired...and the only thing they really said was "if your not eating then you have to leave"
haha they wouldn't serve anybody to eat so i guess they wanted everyone to leave.
I have to disagree....i too was there b4 coeburn or pv.....and the woman seemed nice......i dont blame her for stepping up and saying something.....otherwise things probably would have turned nasty.......sometimes it takes a you know what, to get the point across......
I was there also and id like to say that not all of PV was redneck. malcolm pinkston was very mature about it. He came over and shook all of us coeburn folks' hands
Me and a couple guys from Appy were up there after our game too, and not everyone from PV was being 'redneck'.... They're always up there when we are and even congradulated(sp?) us after we beat them earlier this month...
Is it true a Varsity player went after Crockett after the game, but some players stopped him?
I was sitting right behind PV's bench, and Jay, after getting a technical for pushing Nick Jennings, was on the bench, Crockett said something pretty nasty it sounded like to me (I didn't hear for sure b/c it was loud, but Crockett's body language & expression didn't look like they were talking about the weather), and then Jay got up and tried to go after him...Malcolm Pinkston and another player (#50 I believe) tried to restrain him before one of the assistants came over and tried to calm Jay down.

they are sending the video tape to PV... they are trying to get everyone that was being "rude" in trouble. i dont' know how that works but IMO u can't do that it wasn't even a school function
IMO--Crockett should be the one in trouble. No young man, emotional or not, gets THAT angry at a coach unless something's said that's out of the way. That is what PV needs to be looking into, not what fans did what. I got up and yelled a few times, didn't say anything bad...no cussing...same w/the Crazies--I made sure of that.
Now when it comes to the two PV people beside of my two friends from Coeburn to the left of me at that game, there was one guy that flipped them off and another that told them to STFU...stuff like that is what PV needs to worry about...but Crockett should be questioned as should Jay about what happened and what was said.
everyone that plays for crockett hates him, the reason why they play is because they love the game
im friends with jay, let me tell ya, in a high pressure/atmosphere, it doesnt take too much to set him off. BUT no coach should say something to that affect to [censored] off a player that much.
ROCKY, did he share with you what Crockett had to say to him? I'd be curious to know exactly what set Jay off b/c it didn't look pretty. If you care to let me in on it if you know, PM me.

i find it odd that no one has mentioned what was being said to the young man from pv by one of the coeburn players throughout the game. i think someone said they were jawing throughout the game but there's more to the story.
It was a racial slur from what I was told the night of this game. This coming from the same group that ripped Ced's helmet off and pucnhed him a few years back.

there was a helmet ripped off, by another player, that stated he ripped it off and was shown on film, just p's me off when it's still brought up that i've done something like that, believe me, if i would have punhced him, he would have came out of that pile with worse than a blood trickle
