so the gate city guys are up by three games now in the district?
It's a shame that two teams play their tails off and have to deal with the three jokes in the stripes. Absolute worst officiated game I've seen in awhile, if not ever. It rivaled the Radford game of the late 80's.
what made the referees bad? which one weas the worst/best. the are some bad refs out there
You name it...lol. The icing on the cake, Kilgore's shot goes through the net with :02 left and they put :04 back on the clock. Just horrible all the way around.
Hopefully it will be a good one....I'd like to see coeburn pull one off

I couldn't agree more Quincy. Especially the shorter dark headed pr$ck. you'd think a person getting paid to call a game could at least call a consistent, clean game or a consistent bad game for that matter. He let em beat each other to death for 31 minutes and 58 seconds and called a touch foul with 2 tics to go? I hope the pr$ck sleeps good tonight. He should since he can't have a conscience and call such a sorry game with the kids on the floor playing their hearts out.
why are you so mad? i mean if th guy called to many touch fouls i bet money you would be on here sayin he wouldnt let the kids play. i love refs that let you bet eachother up. thats when the good trash talkin starts.
You'd have to have seen some of his calls and non-calls too.

If you had been there you wouldn't have to ask. If you call something on one end, the rule doesn't change when you switch ends of the floor. It went both ways. I got to the girls game midway through the first quarter and it didn't seem like they called anything. Only thing consistent between those three was the fact they sucked the entire game, end to end.

negative. my dad doesnt ref. doesnt havbe an athletic bone in his body. although he occasionaly watches football. but seriously this year evrygame seems top be the refs fault. tonight the jjk-pv game was well officiated. There wqas bad calls but overall not to many. now there ARE bad refs, dont get me wrong

I personally didn't think the game was officiated as badly as yall are makin out. and ur sayin that they werent consistent, im figuring that u mean to ur disadvantage, but they were just as inconsistent from my POV. but overall not that bad.
probably wasn`t bad, now had you been in Wise tonight, anybody there can back me up on this'n it was horrible
who were the leading scorers for GC tonite.
I honestly didn't think they were terrible, they didn't call the best game, but tonights game was a complete 180 from the last one as far as the refs go...
Coeburn once again didn't play their best game, but they did shoot well, but all those turnovers killed 'em...
The Knights let this one get away from 'em, they led the entire first half, but that third Quarter is what got 'em, the foul count in that quarter was Coeburn 7 GC 1, so that didn't help out the knights any, but they chipped away and was right there at the end.
The little dark headed ref's son plays for JJK and he was complete bush league. He was the main reason Coeburn stayed in it. I have never seen anything that bad in my life. I don't see how anyone would think otherwise. He was that bad. Don't get me wrong Coeburn has a good team but if you were their then you know how bad it really was.
I was there and i think u guys r just being biased. The refs did a decent job. I dont see how yall get off sayin the refs were bad when one: yall won the game afterall, and two: the officiating was a freakin travesty when u guys played us at coeburn. and as LPD BLUE said, the foul breakdown in the 3rd was our 7 to yalls 1. and this isnt a fact but im thinkin it was worse in the 4th.
and wheres all the people who come out of the woodworks to jump on to coeburn fans when we say the refs are bad. i dont hear anybody jumpin down gate citys throat.
After a game this past season, a ref was heard saying "If we called every foul a certain team commits, they would foul out before the half and if not the game would take 4 hours to play"
That's because everyone knows that no team could stay within 30 of GC if the officials didn't help them.
regardless of what u say coeburn has the potential to beat GC. BTW have you even seen any games in the LPD

We GC fans have do not have anything to gain considering we won. The bottom line was that was bush league and everyone in their could see that. I have never seen calls that bad and no calls that bad. I am still shocked at how bad it really was.

ive heard that BS from the lpd the entire time i was playing...coaches telling refs we "hand-checked" before the game

Again I'm being dead serious, the game wasn't called that badley, there were alot of no calls on both ends, and I'll agree they let 'em play rough, but they kept the game under control,
I think the reason the GC fans are upset, is cause of the charges, and the few times GC ran through screens,

dude it really wasnt that bad. it was our 7 fouls to yalls 1 in the 3rd. the 2nd half of the game at coeburn was our 31 fouls to yalls 5... now thats pathetic
well u know the way i look at it is if its in the rulebook it needs to be called , if there not gonna call it, it need to taken out of the rulebook

And no the refs didn't call hand checks, but they did call a push or two...
