Glad that having them as an ex is an option. Denial is a horrible sickness, and she's eat up with it! Sorry guys-just had to vent.

Haha, ah yes the ex wife. Mine wasn't any better lol.
Well us 3 amigo's have been there. Mine was a crazy woman. And still is. Cost me a fortune before i got rid of her, during the time i got rid of her, and a couple years after.
Them some question you? Live it first. And before you say it. You made the decision.
Maybe. And again sometimes some women won't let up till you do. Think about it before you answer.
Woman can be like men. Pure [censored] and women i have seen tend to care a hellava lot less.
A friend of mine is going throuhg a divorce right now. She is driving him nuts just being a regular b i t c h about everything. He was mad the other day that she wouldn't give him his name back. She wants to keep his last name and he don't like it. She isn't doing for the kids sake like some do she just don't want to get a new license or go through the paperwork.
I feel for him. I know Indian_Dad and Shoe know some of what i went through. Im not sure what happened to the woman. Im no saint. But man. She put me through it. I feel for your friend. Esp. with kids involved me and my ex had none together but she had from a previous marriage.
I hate to see any family break up. But sometimes it has to happen. And i know some will disagree. But sometimes i think it is for the best. For the health of the whole family. Biggest thing i have seen is like Indian_Dad said. People tend to want to bring others grief, just for the simple pleasure of doing it. That i don't understand
Although I love my wife, and hope that we do not seperate, but here is a little thing a buddy here at work told me:
You know why divorce costs so much?

Because its worth it!
He is doing pretty good with it right now. He is getting their 2 kids and the 13 year old that she had from another mariage (she would rather be with him.)
Same thing happened to another friend of mine last summer, his ex tried to make him out to be some kind of devil but she had no case and everything she said she cotradicted with her actions or something she said later.
It weird fellas i've known people married 25 yrs and now their divorcing.
It can happen. And i hate to say it. But Stripes i know the saying. In the end what i paid for my divorce i was more than glad to.
I was to the point it was destroying me mentally and physically.
And honestly when i met the woman and we dated and the first year or so we were married it was great.
Then it became a thing that i was always a liar or cheating or never spent enough time doing this or that?
And she knew my job and stuff, the long hours, and when i was off work, i tried to compensate and spend as much time as i could with her and her kids.
Yes i am not perfect and i can be head strong. But i will bend over backwards to try to make things work out, but it got to the point i couldn't make it work doing that.
Heck I even left phone numbers of places i would be working, but something happened, and man it went wrong. And it was as if i was the devil, and me never knowing what was going on half the time.
But i was always cheating and wrong and i never did a thing.
Finally when the doc told me release some of the stress or have a heart attack, i had to cut things loose. He said your in good physical condition, probably need to lose a few pounds. But stress is gonna kill you, if you don't let it go.
This is a topic i know that is hard for some.
But you know sometimes when you have done all you can. You have to make a decision, and esp. when your living in a house, where you are no longer able to say a word, or afraid to, because it will ignite something.
And i know it's on both sides men and women. I have a female friend who's husband demanded that dinner had to be on the table at 5:08 PM. And she had to have fresh bread from the bakery every day.
So it's just not us guys who go through hell sometimes.
I hate it for anyone. But i have learned, sometimes it's better to get out of a bad situation, it can hurt you in more ways than one staying in it.
I wish Indian_Dad and your friend the best Beast. Cause any long relationship is hard when it ends. But marriage and a person bent on vengeance, it makes it twice as hard.
I think sometimes when real life hits some just are not ready for it. And it does take work to make a marriage work, but it can't be all one sided. That is what kills most marriages, one wants it all and they lose the ability to talk to their partner about anything and everything, when you lose that. Look out because the marriage is headed for problems. Just some advice for those on here married. I've had other great relationships and the reason they worked was trust and the ability to talk and be painfully honest.
Mine is so intent on making my life miserable, she doesn't see that it's destroying our sons. My consolation is that they will resent her later on for it, but she has ignored everything we were told in Kids First class. Yes, I do despise her, but from day one I have taken the high road and not let my sons hear negative comments about her-not so at all in her case. She uses them as weapons against me, and brainwashes them on a daily basis. Luckily for me, they are crazy about their daddy, and enjoy spending time with me. This woman thinks she is completely blameless. I stepped up to the plate and took my share of the blame, but not her. She is living in a bubble world full of denial. I wish to God she'd move on like I have. I paid off HER debts (thousands of dollars worth) to make it easier for her. I have voluntarily exceeded my child support requirement from day one, never been late/missed a single payment, bought the kids school clothes, and whatever they need, pay a 130 a month life insurance premium so that they will be financially ok when /if I die. I could go on forever. I fought next to nothing in my divorce, made it so easy on her (floored both my lawyer and the judge). I know that she'll be one of these old hateful [censored] women without anybody though. No one else is stupid enough to marry her. I was married to her for 11 years, and she watched soaps while I laid my life on the line/busted my balls to pay the bills-was nothing but a paycheck to her.
Why am I ranting though? You and Shoe both know this is all true bub. You all know there's 3 sides to every story, but I kept quiet while she slandered the hell out of me, lied to me..etc-still does. Was I blameless? Absolutely not, and I have to make amends for it/answer to God (things that I am doing), but she needs to take a look in the mirror and realize that she made my life a living hell, and I'd have rolled out years ago, but tried to endure for my sons. I just got to the point that I knew that was doing my sons zero good living in that war zone.
I got lucky. I never see mine but on the rare occasion I do see her, everything goes really well. She has my class ring and both my football jersey's though. I'd like to get those back.
[censored] my exwife did me wrong. It wasn't long after we lost our child, when she decided to cheat on me. I guess I wasn't there enough. Hell I even found her on a dating website with a nickname I gave her. LPD and Indian_Dad know that messed with me. Hell if it wasnt for them two I honestly dont know what I would have down. So thanks bros. I was pretty head over heels for that girl from day one. I was willing to over look all her bs to stick it out and make it work. It took me almost 8mos to get over it. Finally I just let go. It was tough. But I her she is with some [censored] now, lol. Deserves her right [censored] it. Oh the funny thing about me, Indain dad, and LPD was that we were more or less going through the same [censored] at the same time, lol.
Misery loves company.
You know what amigo? We all got through it, and we're all still standing.
Thankfully, I was never married. But I have been through the wringer with my boy's mother, so I kind of know how you fellows feel. She took my boys to Lexington and had the nerve to tell me that I should give up custody of them because they are going to live a better life up there. Well, guess what? No way in hell I'd ever do that. And that "good life" they were going to live didn't last that long.....she was back down here in 4 years time, which ticks me off because I missed all that time with them. Fortunately, I've met someone that can put all that old pain to rest. Hopefully at 40, I can finally find happiness!
[censored] getting married!
I just got married 16 months ago. This is all so much fun to read I can't stand myself. I do believe I have a good one, no GREAT ONE. She has been married before and went through a divorce so she knows all about that. I am also thankfull that I didn't marry the first girl I was engaged to and we split just before we did get serious about marriage so I wouldn't be going through a divorce which most likely would have happened.
I've never been married but i dated a girl with a kid..and i went through some hell there..The baby wasnt mine but i loved her like she was. Id sit at the house with her while her mom was out at the club doing who knows what.. I was in that relationship for almost 2 years but it felt like 15, it was hell. We stayed together and she calmed down a little bit stopped going to the club but started workin at sykes and after a few months we broke up and she done had a new b/f from sykes
I have a great one now. She, like me, went through a hellish first marriage. We both learned alot. My ex isn't fit to shine elp6n's shoes

Just be glad you got out when you did balla33, without having to go to extremes.
I'm all about family and stuff. But when it's is killing the whole family or the main two members cannot make work. Why make the whole family suffer? I mean let's be honest.
Lung sounds like he has had the best of it so far. And im sure others are looking in saying i have been there.
But until you been on the side of a woman full of vengeance, no one knows. Three years after the divorce and several thousand dollars later, i am just now finding the peace i should of found, a few years ago.
Believe me sometimes you will do or pay any amount to find some peace of mind and just some peace.
And yeah i know what Indian_Dad went through and Shoe as do they know what i went through.
I will say thank God for divorce. It may not be the best thing and bibical, but i think it also says it's better to be on the house top than in the house with a brawling woman.
Not just woman it goes both ways. But mine was with a woman. She may of been right but after so much crap. Sometimes you just don't care or can't take no more. And that is from either side.
Later guys. And as i always give others advice. Talk and always talk, keep that and other things active, it keeps the marriage going, and helps to work through the hard times.
I know this much if i ever get married again. there is one thing that will happen before i say i do again prenupt sp. this time she wont get away with all the bull i had to go thru like my last one.
