Disaster Relief 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
Saturday, March 26, 2006 @ 9:00 a.m.
First Baptist Church of Pound Gymnasium
up to 4 players per team, $10 per player, Double Elimination
All Proceeds go to missions for the Gulf disaster.
Anyone interested please contact Josh Tompkins or Jerry Lusk at 796-4962 from 8:30 til 3:30 daily.
Oak is that Saturday the 25th, or Sunday the 26th?
To those who weren't there last year--I played in it and had a ball. It was for a good cause and I got to meet many guys off of this forum. Lots of good ball players and good people for the most part (except for the few that trash-talked and some eventually got close to getting tossed).
Josh & Pastor Lusk are top notch and this is worth getting into even if your team doesn't last that long.
I may play if I can find a team to get with...I'm out of shape majorly though.
I just wish this wasn't race weekend. If I didn't have tickets I would love to play in it.

There will be a Ping Pong tournament as well, singles and doubles. $5 per entry
heck yes! time to defend my title as the 4th best team there!!! hoorah!
It would be greatly appreciated if everyone would spread the word around about this tournament until we get flyers and ads out about it.

So is this a 4v4 tourny or a 3v3 tourny? Different posters are saying different things.
3 on 3...but you can have a 4th player for a sub

Hate to use this thread for recruiting purposes, but if there are any guards out there interested in playing on a team, PM me...I've got a team w/two big men and myself as a guard...and we need a 4th, preferrably a bigger guard/forward as I'm more of a point.
Like I said, if interested, just PM me and we'll see what we can do.
Maybe I could be of some assistance? Just depends on if I gotta work or if we have football things to do....
