I would agree. Also Phillips from SP. I do wish though that they would cut the first teams down to 5 players, second team to 5, and honorable mention to 5. That would make more sense, and be a bigger honor to make the team. That is the way it used to be a while back ago, and I think all sports should be like that. Just one per starting position.

kilgore should be on the list had he not been injured

I still think Kilgore will be deserving. Didn't he only miss the LPD, and regional tourny? I think 18 games or so is a good enough body of work to make the all regioin team.

I didn't get to see him, but since he was the POY, I am sure he will. All POY should automatically make it I believe now a days.

i dont believe the other coaches in the region would be obligated to vote for him since they hadnt seen him play

Well in the past it used to be that way. It may not be anymore, I am not sure. I would assume that they would vote for him though since they put 3 times the amount people that should be for each team.

Like I said, I am a simple setup with 5 players on first team in basketball. 5 for second, and 5 for honorable mention.

District Players of the Year are not automatic picks but they usually make it.

i believe district player of the year in baseball is an automatic pick in baseball. but i'm not sure if there is any difference in basketball.
