Does anyone know or is anyone even pretty sure that Jason Witten and Steve Grindstaff were involved in the boating accident? I know that nobody has actual facts about the situation, but most people who hear things like this know whether or not the source is reliable. This whole deal has really aroused my curiosity. I've read something different about it everyday in the Bristol Paper.
I just read on another board that police officials released a statement that neither were involved and they appolgized to both and said they didn't know how the rumor was started.
They Interviewed Grindstaff on channel 11 news. His boat is bright yellow and white. The boat in question was blue and white. My buddy who is married to Grindstaff's daughter said it was a terrible rumor. Sounds like Saturday at the 4-Way!!!!!!!!!

I had heard it was still Grindstaffs boat, and was found at a dentists home hidden. Who knows exactly what the situation was.
I hope for Witten's sake it's not true. I'd love to see Grindstaff brought back to reality though. Just wish it was under different circumstances.

Hes a weirdo man. The girl he is married to now was Miss Kingsport, or Jonesborough one. He hitched a trailer up to a limo to drive her to Jackson with all of her stuff for the Miss Tennessee pageant. I reckon he was dressed to the nines to with a big hat, and sunglasses. I don't know if he is involved or not, but he's not going to come out and admit it even if he is. At this point, I wouldn't believe anything I hear from anybody until the police produce an official statement with names. Let's hope the truth comes out soon.

The girl in the commercials that is his wife now. If she is the one that was Miss Jonesborough then I am glad I never went there looking if that is the best they have to offer, she just doesn't do anything for me at all.

I started hearing another person possibly involved with this today. I kept hearing something about a dentist, and I was afraid it may have been Dr. Templeton from GC who just retired, and has a new house on Boone Lake. Instead, I heard it may have been Dr. Chaffin from GC. I hope this is not the case because I have always heard nice things about him, even though I don't know him personally. I do hope that they are able to find out for sure who has committed this crime.

I like to spread my hate around...I hate all of these commercials that have these moron's kids in them. Whether it be Grindstaff, Allen's Carpet, Freedom Ford any of them...nobody wants to see your retarded ugly [censored] kids. Boat accident
Here is an update from the BHC. It doesn't look like we will know much of anything for a while.
Well, apparently they decided to go ahead with the ID. Also, my source appears to have possibly been correct. I thought his first name was Mark though. Here is the link:

So it wasn't Grindstaff, but what do ya wanna bet this Dr. is a good friend of his and they are together on the lake alot.
What difference does that make? It wasn't Grindstaffs boat. Grindstaff didn't have anything to do with it.
I was just saying that everyone kept saying it was Grindstaff and this probably came from them being associated with each other, not that he had anything to do with it still.
Ok. I think the Grindstaff deal was just a bad rumor due to his living at the lake also, and the fact that he does have a big speed boat.
I sort of figured it was rumor against Grindstaff. Like I said it was probably put on him just because of his assiociation with the doctor and I would imagine there are alot of jealous people around there that were hoping to at lest cause him some bad publicity even though it wasn't true.
