Wow, this is close between
Robo's, Snack Shack, Glen's and Nut's Grill but the edge my the smallest goes to

Where is the Dari Barn? I try to pick out a different place each day to eat while I'm over that way....lol
Main steet on wise just before you would cut off to go to the Primary and Middle schools.

I work at KFC in Big Stone and one thing unique about us. We sell burgers. Very good. It will take a bit after you place your order. Not really more than 10 minutes if that long depending on how many need to be cooked. They're not put on the grill until the order is placed. Next time you're around Big Stone stop by KFC and order ya a Colonel Burger.
I've actually heard rumors about the "Colonel burger" but never got around to trying one.
Are they similar to burgers from anywhere else?
Not really. We toast the buns.

Try it. They're actually pretty popular orders and on Sundays when the crowd comes in from church they're very very very popular. Depends on business that night on how well they sell.

Last time I ate there it cost me an arm and a leg. As for the burgers, I like Hardees.

The last I ate at Robo's the quality of the food had gone way down. It seemed they had stopped making stuff fresh and were using mostly foodservice stuff. The burger I had was not even close to what I had been used to getting there. It had been a few years since I had been there.
The best burgers are TheBeast's race burgers, the only problem being I only make them when I am at the track before and after a race. The next chance to get one will be the night race in Bristol.
I had to change my selection to the Central Drive-In burgers. Those are some good burgers
KFC in BSG does have a good burger. Glenn's and Hob Knob have to be my favorites. Nuts Grill has a good burger too.
Eww Burgers are nasty!

Yeah I worked at "The Pixie" the summer before I went into college.
The owner paid in cash each week, and "deducted taxes" from the cash (yeah right). LOL. He must have thought I was some kind of schmuck. I may have been 17, but I knew what a W4 was and I knew I hadn't filled out one.
As for Central Drive-In food I have to words: Corn. Nuggets.
I avoid meat for the most part, so I dont have much to say about burgers.

It has reopened. Don't know whether it is the same or not.
Frosty Bossie in Coeburn has some awesome corn nuggets too, dip them in a little butter, delicious.

Dari Delite - BSG
Patio - Pennington
Teddy's - Nicklesvile
Glen's - Norton
Mutual Drug - BSG
Hob Knob - Gate City
Red Stone - Clinchport
Broadwater Drug - Gate City
Although not a diner I do have to give a nod to the Central Drive-in burger, one of the best.
I have tried both Robo's and the Dari Barn's burgers and don't rate them on the same level as the ones I've listed above. I do love going to Robo's, some of their other menu items are at the top of the list in this area.
I had an interesting burger yesterday from Ramanos. fresh baked tosted buns, fresh meat. Wasn't the best I've ever had but was different.

The last few I have gotten from the quick shop near Pound lake have been great. So for Now they are top of my list.
how about any new places out there?
I have to say that Caudill's has carried on the tradition with Glen's Burger and they are on top for me. Good Stuff.
