2 practices a day. Exactly what it says.
I miss 2-a-days (basketball). Hated it at the time. Thought it was torture. But I'd do it again.

Well if you have never played football then just seeing two-a-days would not mean two practices a day!
Eh.. I've never played varsity football (only played P-nut back in the day) and I pretty much assumed that 2-a-days meant two practices in a day.. what else could it mean?
It doesn't have to pertain to football. It could pertain to anything that is done twice in one day for a period of time.
Vtgal gives that support by talking about doing 2 a days for basketball.
You asked what two a days are. They are exactly that, two practices a day. Its not rocket science folks.

don't know how they went, but i do know that the Knights are going through 3-a-days...
pv goes (1) practice a day from 5pm to 9pm. very quick paced practice. serves the same purpose as two-a-days

Yep 1 4 hour practice = 2, 2 hour practices and is in all likleyhood more effecent since the warmup time for the 2nd practice would be unnessacery all in all probably not a bad way of doing things
Of course there is an alternate side to that as well
At the end of 4 hours of most anything, people aren't really focued/energetic/paying attention. Keeping people focused on something 2 hours is challenging enough.
But the end of a 4 hour practice at Temps around 80 and insted of 90+ I don't know if one way is better than the other but the long evening practice is intreaging
I think getting as many practices in under the lights and exposing the players to them doesn't hurt either.

Now the lights aspect is a good point. I just know that I myself, even watching TV or a movie or about anything actually, a couple hours and my attention goes out the window.
There are good and bad points to either way. Just choose your poison I guess.

I have no idea, I guess I just assumed it was somewhere with lights. May not be though.
