Run down on the teams i've watched practice,so far

Appy---Looked better yesterday. Have all the talent needed to have a great year. The backs look good, it'll just depend on the Line.

Gate City- Looks much improved from last year. You can definatly tell that they've hit the weights, hard. Always well coached, especially on Defense.

PV- From what I've seen...They're head and shoulders above anyone. More Size, and alot more speed than the first two teams, mentioned.

This is just from what practice time I've gotten to watch.
I've watched 2 Appy practices, 1 whole Pv practice, and like 20 min of another one. 1/2 of a Gate City practice.

Dear lord, you've seen 3 teams in 3 days..multiple times for 2 of the teams.

If you want, I've got a yard that needs to be mowed, if you got that much free time [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I drove by Burton's practice today and they had several players and also a new color of Helmet

lol, I hear ya. well, the main reason I've watched so many, is b/c Im goin' to school to be a teacher/coach. I've been attending college coaching clinics the past few years, also. Like em or not...Robbins and Colobro are two very good coaches to pick stuff up from.

I stopped by and watched GC for a few minutes. Other than hitting the weights, which is very apparent, they seem MUCH more laid back than in previous years. They all seemed to be having fun, coaches included. Numbers didn't seem to be anywhere near what we had last year. Just guess-timating it looked like we had 45-50. Again that was just glancing.

Gate City still has Nick Colobro as the head coach, right?

I've been so mixed up lately with all of the coaching changes and such that I really haven't been able to keep up with it 100%. My dad has been saying that he thinks Gate City's coach retired, but he isn't positive so I was just curious.

I figured that if he would've really retired though, I'd have seen alot more about it on here.

Coeburn has new equipment as well..putting more grey into the scheme..grey helmets with blue facemask and blue stripe, USC style jersey, and grey travel pants

Oh I can spell pretty bad LOL (My biggest problem is typos and the fact that I hardly ever proof read non work related stuff) needless to say if not for good spell checkers I would probably be unemployed LOL

Uniform...we all pronounce it unaform, so thats how he spells it.

I think it was Ben Franklin who once talked about changing the way English word were spelled if I like to think of my spelling as a homage to that great mans shunned idea (Of course he also wanted the turkey to be the national bird so not all his ideas were good ones LOL)

Pink hlmets, lol. Then again, teams used to have pink practice jerseys reserved for the worst players each week...at Pennington HS, they put a big letter P on it.

PV starts at 6 tryin to avoid the heat. And theygot there traditional saturday practice this saturday at 8 a.m.
