Letter to the Devils

Guys, a lot of folks are saying a lot of crap on here and bemoaning how bad "we" (notice how i say we,it's a community who lives with, and thru you) are gonna be compared to this or that. I haven't had the opportunity to see any of the scrimmages or even a practice this year because of work. YOU are the ones who have the chance to change those perceptions by the way you carry yourselves on and off the field. All the two-a-days, all the gut sprints, all the drills. It is time to suit up and hit.I am a season ticket holder, and will be there for every game, win or lose. I am more concerned with the attitude and the spirit you play with. Go out there and give it your best and play with pride, get fired up and "bust some heads", and you will have no regrets. You have the opportunity to wear the Blue and White tomorrow night. Richlands is coming to Legion Field and expecting another blowout, your chance to prove'em wrong. Eleven against eleven! Pride! Tradition! Show them that GC spirit. I can't wait! I'll be hoarse by the end of the first quarter! It's all about the effort and attitude, give it all you've got!......That will be more than enough. GOOOOOOO BIIIIIGGGGG BLLLLLUUUUUEEEEE!

40th anniversary of Blue Devil tradition this year at Legion Field. This is a special year for the Devils.

Good luck to the Devils. I predicted Richlands to win, but I hope and pray that The devils prove me wrong.
I have great respect for Gate Citys program.Always have, Always will. Other than that, I'll always pull for LPD teams while playing non district teams.

Hey GC i'm proud of the effort! there's no shame in getting beaten by a better team, and that's what happened tonight. I hope you take it as a learning experience and strive to get better every week, you'll be okay by the end of the year.

Nope, in all fairness to you he didn't. You weren't with the group of about 10 that post on here. You shouldn't say that he doesn't have much to say out in public though. I went with him last year thinking he might get himself in trouble, but he was polite and acted really well (suprisingly). None of the 8-10 that was there, had anything to say other than tob. The rest acted like they were somewhere else.

Well, since you want to wade in I actually don't usually sit in the same section as Quincy and others do. I sit with family members elsewhere and wasn't even aware he was there until the game was over FWIW.
