I just took it again. I think you are right about the low score.

The first time I took it was during break between classes and I didn't read anything about it.

Not bad.. I find that it isn't as much about typing speed as it is about learning the pattern of the keys in order to form the alphabet. Even as a fast typist, I still struggled with it alot before I got my best score.
